bball23 Posted October 31, 2012 Report Posted October 31, 2012 Reggie Rankin tweeted today that NU is still in the running with him. 6'8 power forward at 250#. Has some good schools looking at him, and we all know we need some big bodies. He is a 2013 recruit. Quote
Huskerpapa Posted November 1, 2012 Report Posted November 1, 2012 Wasn't Reggie once a Nebraska assistant? Quote
huskas4real Posted November 1, 2012 Report Posted November 1, 2012 Have always said that I like this kid. Think this would be a big get for us at this point. Quote
hugh42 Posted November 1, 2012 Report Posted November 1, 2012 Wasn't Reggie once a Nebraska assistant? Yes. Was apart of Collier's original staff. Quote
FredsSlacks Posted November 1, 2012 Report Posted November 1, 2012 This kid is a must get. Hope he visits soon. He visited Minnesota with Alex foster in September. Foster committed, but Miller never did. Hopefully that means we still have a shot at him. Quote
MandRHusker Posted November 1, 2012 Report Posted November 1, 2012 Tory Miller fits our needs perfectly. Sergey is tall and Pritchford is very athletic but neither provide much muscle in the middle. Miller brings that and more. But when Tory announced he would not sign in the early signing period some took that as an indication of academic qualification issues. I don't know that is the case, but it makes sense. It is still good that we are in on him because he may still qualify!!! Quote

I took him and Atewe both pushing out as signs they arent getting the offers they want now and hope with a strong senior year and teams finding out better needs for the future and guys leaving that their suitors will be stronger than they are now. Huskerpapa Posted November 1, 2012 Report Posted November 1, 2012 Actually Tory is in Prep School this year. And I also recall, that at least at one time, our main competition for him was Arkansas... http://rivals.yahoo....y-Miller-114157 Quote

TheKamdyMan Posted November 1, 2012 Report Posted November 1, 2012 He is at New Hampton which is the same school as the new PG target Jorgenson. They played on the same AAU team this past summer. Quote
FredsSlacks Posted November 13, 2012 Report Posted November 13, 2012 Tory has been reclassed to 2014. Not sure why. This doesn't leave Nebraska with too many options at the PF/C for 2013. http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/basketball/recruiting/player-Tory-Miller-114157 Quote
Badgett Fan Posted January 22, 2013 Report Posted January 22, 2013 Not sure where NU and this 2014 recruit stand, but: http://zagsblog.com/articles/jorgenson-miller-shine-for-new-hampton-n-h/ "Miller holds offers from Arkansas, Colorado State, Minnesota and Nebraska, while maintaining interest from a plethora of high-level schools such as Kansas, Missouri, Tennessee and Vanderbilt." and http://www.cityleaguehoops.net/2012/11/19/natioanl-prep-showcase-day-three-top-performers/ "When he wasn’t collecting rebounds, Miller was catching everything and looking to punish the rim. There’s still plenty of work to do in the skill department, but Tory has all the makings of a top 100 player for 2014." Quote
