So, I had a good chuckle while watching this game on big ten plus.  I'm assuming that the announcers were NU students (working on getting into sports broadcasting) which made it quite hilarious since the one guy, that being the color commentary guy, should have been better prepared.  He referred to Coley as "Cooley" almost every time he mentioned her name.  The play-by-play guy seemed to emphasize the correct pronunciation when he called her name.  After Moriarty took the elbow and Coley exchanged words with the KC player, the color guy called her "Cooley" a couple of more times.  The play-by-play guy spent most of the time that the zebra's were reviewing the play commenting on the replay.  As you would expect, he mentioned Coley's name numerous times (correct pronunciation) during the commentary and again, it sure seemed like he was trying to emphasize that to his partner.   The color guy proceeded to pronounce her named correctly a couple of times, but he went right back to calling her "Cooley" when she came back in late in the game.

I'm not really sure why someone wouldn't have used the commercial breaks earlier in the game to "coach him up" on the correct pronunciation - maybe someone did, but he must've had is so ingrained in his brain that he just couldn't get it right.

Why in the heck did NU play K.C.??? That's a recipe for a sloppy game. Play a team from the Summit League that at least has a pulse.

That is actually the third Summit league team the huskers played this season, Omaha and South Dakota being the others.

Because of proximity,  they are economic choices.

Yeah, I know K.C. is in the Summit. They didn't have a pulse, lol.

They went down to the final possession with Tuesday’s opponent Lindenwood.
