A few major leaguer's have played in that place. Mike Boeve will be the next big leaguer with ties to Duncan. He played high school and legion ball there.

Here's where we stand going into Super Regionals:

 

SEC (5): Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia, Florida, Texas A&M

ACC (5): Florida State, Virginia, North Carolina, NC State, Clemson

Big 12 (2): Kansas State, West Virginia

Pac-12 (2): Oregon, Oregon State

Big East (1): UConn

MVC (1): Evansville

Big Ten (0): N/A

Florida ruins the ACC streak. First SEC team to secure a spot in Omaha.

And what a game it was!  Also, Nebraska got a terrible draw.

Oregon had an 8-4 lead through 6 innings. Then gave up 6 walks, a hit by pitch, and a grand slam. All in the top of the 7th. Gave up 9 runs. Now down 13-8.

SEC continues the streak and adds another team for Omaha.

There's a difference between deserving to be in a tournament based on selection criteria and actually being a good team that underperformed.

Omaha will now officially comprise of only SEC and ACC teams. The question today is: how many of each?

One more data point to add for Super Regionals:

 

13 of the 17 games (so far) have had at least one team score double-digit runs. That's over 75% of Super Regional games.
