OT- NJ Prep Hoops

Referees initially ruled this a good basket.  Coach of losing team and security guard run in yelling that the basket was no good.  Referees huddle and wave off basket.

 

The initial call was correct.  This wasn’t just a bang bang bad call either.  The ball is through the hoop with a half a second left.

 

Ball is out of shooters hands with 1.3 left.  This was an egregiously bad mistake.  In a state tournament type game to boot.

I guess the state athletics association used video a few weeks ago to eject (post game) players for coming off the bench for a scuffle after the game was over.  This caused one team to maybe miss the playoffs.  But here… can’t use video.
