What do you mean when you say top seeds? One seeds?

8 locations

16 top teams make up seeds 1-16.

#1 seed gets first placement and so on, each location gets two top 16 teams.

Tennessee and NC likely are going to Charlotte. Duke is likely going to Pittsburgh because they won't have a higher seed than Tennessee or NC.

The lower seeds are a crapshoot for sure though

I'm too lazy to do it right now. But I'm curious how many midwest schools have been slotted in west coast regional sites.

If the odds are low(er), then that reduces our potential landing spots by 25%. But if it's common enough to be equal probably to any other site for a 7+ seed, then we can't really rule them out.

Iowa State and/or KU will straighten it out and be back on the radar for Omaha. I think NU can still be there at either the 7-seed or 10-seed, depending on how things go in the next week or so. GBR Always.

I think they’ll be high enough to both play in Omaha I just don’t think our potential seed lines up with them anymore. Win tomorrow I think we’re locked in at a 10 and maybe a 9 and don’t really think what we do in the B1G tourney would change that unless winning the whole thing. Don’t see either of KU/ISU being 2 tho. KU especially they’re just not very good.

Still seems like Iowa St (or some Big 12 team) has a good shot at a #2 seed because 4 someones have to be 2 seeds. A run in the conference tournament by a team in the 3 or 4 seed might be enough to shift that.

Yep agreed. Everyone on the 3 line in that graphic could make an argument for a 2 after todays results. And if Kentucky makes a run they could surpass everyone for it.
