I think it is between the coaches. I noticed MSU just had a run-rule game recently.

Huskers have been raking today. It's 18-1 after Swanson's 3-run bomb.

Max Anderson 3-3, 2 R, 4 RBI (2 2B, 1 HR, 2 BB)

Charlie Fischer 2-4, 2 R, 1 RBI (1 3B, 1 HR, 1 BB)

Gabe Swanson 4-5, 3 R, 6 RBI (2 2B, 2 HR)

Nebraska is 19-38 at the plate. Northwestern has 4 hits, all occurring with 2 outs.

18-2 Nebraska after 8 inn. First time all day that the Huskers did not score, in what will likely be their final inn. I have a hard time seeing NW scoring 16 in the top of the 9th to tie it up...

Whelp, it's now 18-5 after a bases clearing 2B with 2 outs in the top of the 9th. I guess it could have been over but an earlier throw from SS to second wasn't caught... oh well. It's called "experience."

 

<EDIT> the bases clearing 2B was declared an E, so no RBI's for NW.
