UNO overcame a 43-30 deficit to #1 in the Summit, South Dakota State, tonight in Omaha. Mavs outscored the Jacks 55-41 in the 2nd half to win it 85-84 on a Mitch Hahn baseline jumper as time nearly expired, all that despite SDSU making 17 of 34 threes. Amazing game at Baxter, a record-crowd of 4,228. Go Mavs.

Looking over UNO's team after last night's home finale, I think only Zack Jackson and Mitch Hahn could play for our team. Zack Jackson would probably/maybe be better than Amir, Nana, and Thor (hard to tell bc of the difference in competition. Hahn is a big body that is good from 3. Two things we need rn.

What do you guys think?

Matt Pile could bang in the Big Ten. He manhandled Mike Daum a week ago (oftentimes). One or two guards for Omaha could see some spot minutes for NU. And, yeah, Zack & Mitch for sure would be firmly "in the rotation" now that NU's Cope has been out of commission.
