When I think of this years team I think of this quote.

"The odds are always against you no matter what your previous history is. You have to overcome the tendency to relax." ~ Tom Osborne

Are we good enough to overcome the tendency to relax. This is the biggest test we need to pass. We have seen this team relax, Minny, along with the ability to overcome the tendency to relax, Ok St. The BIG is going to test the players and coaches. As of today 9 teams in the BIG are 9-2 or better and 10 teams are 8-3 or better!

Yes @Norm Peterson you are correct, It won't take luck. We have to overcome the tendency to relax.

One thing that I think will help our tendency to relax is that the above means that every team is going to have the tenancy to beat the other on any given night.  We saw that with Minnesota. That was probably a good learning lesson and should bode well for our first two games @Iowa and @Maryland.

We are definitely good enough. There isn’t a team left on our schedule we can’t beat  The goal for this team should be to get a

six seed or higher. If so, we can do some damage in March.

We are going to be a tough out for anyone except the elite teams come March.  We have the kind of roster that historically does well in the dance.  We have excellent guard play.  We can draw fouls and we get to the line a lot.  And we play really good defense.
