Row6Seat10 Posted January 8, 2017 Report Posted January 8, 2017 (edited) Maybe some of you have heard about the scary situation which happened to the Butler basketball team flying home from the Georgetown game last week when their chartered jet lost cabin pressure, lost 25,000 feet in altitude in a short amount of time and was forced to land at Pittsburgh. Needless to say, they took a bus back to Indy the next day. __________________ Then this happens tonight. Edited January 8, 2017 by Row6Seat10 Quote
HuskerFever Posted January 8, 2017 Report Posted January 8, 2017 I hope they're all safe now and for the rest of the season. As for their traveling issues, we all know the refs didn't make the call. Quote
Huskerpapa Posted January 10, 2017 Report Posted January 10, 2017 I imagine fear of flying will take on a new meeting with Barry and the Butler team. Quote
AuroranHusker Posted January 11, 2017 Report Posted January 11, 2017 I'm amazed with the total number of games that collegiate & professional basketball teams that *have to* fly that, quite frankly, there aren't more "issues" in the friendly skies. Silverbacked1 1 Quote
Huskerpapa Posted January 11, 2017 Report Posted January 11, 2017 How long ago was the Oklahoma State crash. There have been many, but Oklahoma State and Marshall are the two incidents that come to mind. Then of course was the Brazilian soccer team crash this past year. Quote
Silverbacked1 Posted January 11, 2017 Report Posted January 11, 2017 Wichita State football also, that is why they don't have football I think. Quote
