It will be an interesting season. In my opinion the program has taken a step back and may need a couple of years to recover. Maybe it was necessary. I wish nothing but the best for the Huskers.

You may be right on a step back this fall but if that happens I hope it will be a small one.  In conference we were 10-8 and 9-9 the last two years so a step back could mean a losing conference record.  I think we will see several players step up that had smaller roles in the past and hopefully avoid a losing conference season.

Coach Williams is a different coach, with a different set of schemes, and different  in how she does things, so I fully expect to see a different team and different approach to the game.

 

From what little tidbits we've heard so far from players, they seem to like the process and a have a new refreshed and positive attitude. Probably even the roles  might change somewhat. Jess seems to like what she's seeing...plus she's more healthy, and hopefully can physically do more things than last year....along with Burns, Maddie, and Cincore and others that played hurt last year.

 

So we'll see this fall. Not sure what to expect...but will go with the flow of things the first few games, then have a better assessment of things. Got to be positive about what's ahead.
