God they. Don't need to elimate alcohol sales at any stands. They just need to open more stands. That alone will take away all the pressure. How is that so difficult to grasp.

Yup. LCVB has asked when and if we are coming back. Have just said not in the near future. We have already moved to the brand new place at the Crowne Plaza. Our last two years were at the Lancaster Event Center. Our vendors didn't like it in the least. We are now selling out our trade show in Kearney.

yup I got a call last year wanting to know about my thoughs of a convention center and locations since we had a convention here for 80 years before leaving for Kearney. the locations were 1. Next to the Arena (I'm guessing Post Office). 2. the upcoming expansion to the Haymarket with Haymarket South or what ever they are calling it. I said no as it would require people to lose their home...and it has pissed me off when Bryan expands and knocks down peoples homes. 3. the lot where the former US Bank Drive through is on 13th and L. 4. Somewhere out by I80.

I like the idea...and I'm probably going to sounds stupid here...but going to ask anyway. 1. How many players do we have (or most any other school have that stay the full time? Are career players a thing of the past? By that i mean players that commit to a school and play their college career there. 2. How do you deal with the transfer portal in this stuation? Players go where they are going to get playing time. I heard of a QB this season that got benched for one game and then decided to enter the portal. Kind of childish...but maybe lots more to the story.

There were more consession stands open last night then there have been since the start of the season. the Beer stands haven't even been open most of the season. Yeah I think they have a worker shortage and in the past they had volunteers. Must not be allowed to do that anymore? First game of the season where I didn't even get a bottle water due to lines. I'm betting there were more beer sales last night than the Creighton game.

I get that the officials were going to let it go, but I'd think most any other coach outside of Bobby Knight, if a chair was shoved across the floor even in a time out situation, a T would have been called.

I can't believe how far into the half Iowa got before being dinged with a fowl.

I wish they could figure a way to get the radio broadcast and the TV broadcast to sync.

They were the first concert I saw at PBA. Their one and only show ever in Lincoln. Only did it because their place in Council Bluffs was being remodeled.

Made it until about half way through the 2nd game. My girlfriend had other ideas so didn't make it to the Husker game.

Lol you have to wonder who was the tool that thought this event thru Ticketmaster on a Tuesday was a smart move. Huskers traveling to play North Carolina or Duke on their home court would be a smarter move and that's not even bright with the level of team we have.

Honestly, whoever thought this was a good idea for a week day, a no student day and a Ticketmaster event needs to be dropped in a dunk tank on Thursday.

I beg to differ...It still might be fun for at least 2 of the 872 people going to the game...but that's all i'm going to say about that.

Nice. Numbers I heard was just before the women's game. Still sounds like "come as your favorite empty chair night. My goal is to get about 10 thousand steps in while I'm there. Should be able to withoute being a bother. Told a guy that PBA should open up for walkers on days when nothing is being set up. Do like gateway.. however maybe charge a couple bucks.

Cannot confirm or deny but I heard this from a friend that works at PBA. He said they have sold about 500 tickets to Tuesdays game. Huge mistake on the University's part by not including in package. I'm going to use it to get my steps in and do laps around the arena. Too cold outside.
