Tough one. Really worried about this team. Somehow even after the win I feel like it isnt a confidence boost, they're just as relieved as we are, and know how badly they played tonight. Just happy with the W obviously. But man. Numbers say this is a good win and #12, but how close to disaster can you skirt? Damn I am nervous. Idk if it's the sickness but things just dont seem right. Guess teams have to go through the low points of the season, and you just hope during those stretches the team can pick up a few survival wins. Just how it is in college ball; enfuriating, but true.

Two games not expected to win, but hoped to win. Super disappointing, I think we can all agree. I know this team wins all but 1 or 2 if not all home games left, but we're not even hitting .500 conf if we cant pull some of these toss ups on the road. For some stupid reason their head isnt in it right now, and our stellar defense is no where to be seen. I'm not gonna act surprised however, we had a decent non con schedule, but that's no big ten where you're playing fringe top 25 every night. we knew this was a tough start to conf play schedule coming in, but it's still annoying that they cant pull it together. So much talent on this team but I'm starting to becoming convinced that it's a roster construction problem; we just dont have SIZE in any capacity to compete with the big contenders in the B1G without fouling out or getting hurt. please no, not again with this "must win" crap again. it's an obvious statement akin to saying, "the team that scores more points will win this game" ? Agree tho, especially against our rivals, we need to bounce back with a dominance on the road. iowa is worse KP than maryland and will have a better crowd im guessing, but on paper is essentially the same team as the terps. Early season made them look better than they are. My brother will be at that game, hoping for the good result on sunday. this was tough. as any loss.

in retrospect that result with losing due to missed FTs is probably more brutal than this result is. still kills ya tho

a 3 wins it for us there. that would've been epic. these games you always tell yourself, the other team escaped luckily with one. They should thank their stars. at the same time execution in the clutch is a factor good teams possess, and we aren't talking this way if we had just buckled down and played a good possession of D that we are known for this year and showed in parts of this game too.
