Good start. NW and Purdue with quick starts.
-
I'll take two for an even split. Sure, 3 would be ideal, but two gives us (as in Nebraska) plenty for a run. that's still probably talking 7 or 8 bids and we just need to keep winning.
-
well well well... rutgers pulls it out. That's a bit of a welcome shock. hope osu or maryland stages one heck of a comeback.
-
saw that too... virginia is beating up on maryland though. if we can pull out two of these three games here, we got this, but we need at least one.

https://www.ncaa.com/rankings/basketball-men/d1/ncaa-mens-basketball-net-rankings i'm having fun watching the link everyday regardless of the plusses or minuses of the current system. Doesn't hurt that we're in the current top ten. If maryland beats virginia and michigan beats UNC, we'll have 5 teams in the top ten... give or take. That's absurd. Yet oddly comforting and nice.

Eh... just seemed to me we were playing from behind more. Obviously anecdotal but meh Pull off 4-2 tonight and we are talking 8 or 9 bid league

There were definitely times today where the b1g didnt look like they'd pull out any of the 3 games we won. Gritty wins which sounds right. Lots of good grinder teams... which means we can win every game or lose some we shouldnt. If the conferences were tied going into day 3 I liked our chances. That hasn't changed.

A very vocal part of our fan base has wanted to fire miles for a couple years now and won't believe until we actually win the ncaa game in march. I point directly at the rivals board for that nonsense. Frankly, this team could EASILY make a sweet 16 run. I'd like to see us make a run in a strong B1g before I say that, but the opportunity and talent are both there. You cant tell me this team is worse than say... last year's Loyola Chicago team. It is right there in front of them. The naysayers to be fair mostly agree with that they just think miles cant coach.

I know I said very satisfied (valid for me imo) but for the love of god I hope any player that reads this chose "not satisfied".

Right where you wanna be... 2 possession lead with our defense playing decently. Need to get to the line and make them down the stretch -
What this says is that going .500 in league should get us in the tourney. If we do better then we get seeded higher. I can live with that.

Honestly, none of the last two games seemed like we were in any danger at all -- against a couple fair teams. It's like somewhere along the line we just decide and the game is over. This team will get tested tomorrow. But i like our chances. -

hah, i went to school at washu for a couple years. i'd look you up colhusker, but columbia scares me (yes, we talked on scout board a bit, you and jr both, although i haven't posted there for a long ass time... real life and i got tired of a lot of stuff). -

Boone's Farm is most definitely not wine. -
Clemson struggled pretty hard against akron today at home, only winning by 3
-
That schedule is pretty good for us as a conference IMO... our worst teams play on the road and duke is at home. The last few games lean toward us being at home which means we should close strong. Truthfully we could very easily start that first night with two road wins. BC is not good and us vs clemson is winnable. This is a very winnable challenge
-
8 of 14 doesn't look like as much of a stretch when you look at the matchups. we've got a lot of the right games at home (and rutgers and illinois who were going to lose anyway on the road... and duke plays at home who would be favored regardless as well). It's a decent setup. Especially when Nebraska wins.

I've lost count of the number of expensive nice books I've found at goodwill or salvation army.

Iowa might pop a few spots higher tomorrow. About 10 minutes left and they seem to be controlling the ducks. Then again ... this is io_a... so who knows.
