That could be a pretty good gig for her and I would think she should do pretty well there.
-
NU not being on her final 10 list is most likely the result of the coaches that were recruiting her to Nebraska are no longer with the program. I'm surprised Notre Dame didn't make the cut.

Take this for what it’s worth but I’m going to throw it out there as a few of us on here have reason to believe the Huskers entertained UMass transfer Bria Stallworth last week. Stallworth is a 5’-6 sophomore to be point guard that played her high school ball in the Chicago area, she earned Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team honors after leading the league's rookies in scoring with 13.1 points a per game to go along with 3.8 assists last season. After UMass’s season ended they fired six year coach Sharon Dawley the first part of March and hired Tori Verdi a one time Husker assistant as the new head coach. Stallworth asked for her release from UMass after the hiring of Verdi. There just aren’t many, if any, links at all out there on the world wide web regarding Stallworth on her visits or her college choices. Could be a really nice pick up should it happen though.

At the time yes, the father-in-laws choice of brew....the frig empty....they were on their way over.

Well it looks as if Arizona State beat the Huskers to the punch. Zeroes became the graduate assistant for the Sun Devils yesterday. The Sun Devils got a steal with this one!! Love Miss Lindsey and what the future has in store for her!! Good Luck Lindsey!! Maybe just maybe, we'll see her on the sidelines at PBR someday!!

Here's the Pre-Season WNIT Bracket.

I snagged these off twitter.

Shaina Pellington '2017, a 5'8 guard from Dunbarton City High School in Pickering Ontario has been added to the 2017 big board as the Huskers have recently been showing interest in her. She played for the Canadian U16 National team last year when they won gold at the FIBA Americas tournament in Puebla, Mexico. As usual just sketchy information on Canadian players. The following is from her profile on the Canada Basketball page. I've seen her listed from 5'5 to 5'9 Member of the Canadian U16 Cadet National team. Gold Medalist at the FIBA Americas. Member of the Ontario Provincial U17 team. Gold Medalist. Member of SBA U19 OBA team - Gold Medalist Division 1. Here's a video of her in club basketball pretty blurry. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZihoCadbiak

Doyle and Cayton play against us. I hope we don't schedule Washington the next 3 years. That could come to fruition sooner than you think HB. Washington is in the Pre-season WNIT this season along with the Huskers and there's a remote chance we might hook up there! But Romeo won't be suited this year. Now do they allow redshirt to travel?Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk No- transfers do not travel. However if we would end up playing Washington at their place she could/will be on their bench. Unless she gets a waiver, right? Anyone know the status of that? Has the university assented to Natalie having a waiver to play this coming season? Probably won't know until Sept or Oct.

Cayton's going to play in Pinnacle Bank Arena after all next season. She committed to California tonight and will most likely be on California's bench when they come to Lincoln next season.
-
From what I can gather one of the reasons Mi'Cole chose NU was that her boyfriend had committed to Colorado St in football and with her being in Lincoln, it would have been somewhat close to him. That was until last weekend when her boyfriend de-committed from Colorado St. Could that be a hit on our chances of getting her to re-commit? Not sure, but California has their top guard transferring out of their program and the lure of playing time there now is just a great as it is here. That being said she could play just about anywhere as she graduated right at the top of her class at St. Mary's.

Would be nice to see just who we're playing at the "Vault" besides UConn. Although, it sounds as of now the first three games of the WNIT will be at PBA. I believe California makes a return trip here too.

Do you know if Williams recruited Seekamp or did the previous coach land her for South Dakota? One thing that might help us get on this kid's radar is that she's somewhat acquainted with Husker men's player Jack McVeigh.
-
You're right I had forgotten that she was forced to sit out her freshman year (prop 48) and then petitioned the NCAA for that extra year of eligibility after her senior season and got it.
-
Not too sure how many of you remember Margaret Richards when she played for the Huskers in the early 2000's. Three years under Sanderford and one with Yori. One of my favorites for sure. Anyway, congratulations to "BG" as yesterday was a big day for her. Alabama A&M named her Women's Basketball Head Coach!! http://aamusports.com/news/2016/6/2/womens-basketball-margaret-richards-named-womens-head-basketball-coach.aspx

Here's our recruiting board you can check out. http://huskerhoopscentral.com/topic/7937-2017-recruits/ Of the players on that list the new coaches have been in contact in some form or another with the following players: Taylor Kissinger Madison Piper Destiny Harden Carlie Littlefield Bailey Helgren.
-
Pretty good ball player who will only be a sophomore next season. Although the school we might have to steal from to get her is on I-35 just north of Des Moines.
-
Don't sleep on Hannah Whitish the incoming freshman from Wisconsin. I think she comes in, grabs the starting point guard position and doesn't let go of it for the next 4 years!
-
Looks like it's just one Husker target in Taylor Kissinger, as I've been informed McKenna Haire committed to Princeton Friday.
-
The second cut of 28 more players was announced tonight, cutting the USAWU17 roster down to 73. Both Husker targets are still listed on the active roster.
