  1. I really think Tai needs to redshirt next year, to work on his shot and confidence. He was just not ready, and that's not his fault. We need a real leader at PG. I think/hope that Tarin can be that guy.
  2. Well if there's one coach who can blow a 13-point lead, it's Scott Drew. This team over-achieved this year in large part due to an amazing home-court advantage/atmosphere. We are a different team away from The Vault.
  3. We waited 16 years for this.....hopefully we don't have to wait another 16 years.
  4. I'm switching over to Duke-Mercer
  5. Tarin Smith can't get here soon enough
  6. Even Doc thinks our offense is pathetic
  7. We are just not a great team away from The Vault
  8. Even more proof that Doc is a classy guy: Sadler happy, content in life after Nebraska
  9. I'm pretty sure Lee meant that he's never heard a bad word about Doc as a person. Of course he's heard people bash his coaching.
  10. Nebraska didn't pick him either
  11. Looks like some Temple people aren't exactly sad to see him go. That's curious. I'm sure you'd read similar things on this board if Webster were to transfer. That's the nature of message boards. It's not like we need someone to come in and play 35 minutes a game. We will still have Walter and Leslee next year. We just need another big body that isn't completely worthless on defense. If it turns out he isn't great then so what, he's done after the season anyway. Based on Temple's record this year, I'm guessing he doesn't have much talent around him like he would here.
  12. I'd be very surprised if Iowa State isn't involved. Hoiberg loves transfers and Lee's family lives in Iowa now. And they lose Melvin Ejim after this year.
  13. Sounds like he grew up in the D.C. area, so maybe Kenya can work some magic. Though it doesn't appear that Georgetown ever recruited him. He moved to Florida his junior year. Interesting side-note is that his parents now live in the Davenport, Iowa area - so maybe he'd be interested in a Big Ten school like us. His other offers out of high school included George Washington, George Mason, Seton Hall, Georgia, USC, VCU, and Washington.
  14. Find a post transfer, replace with Vooch with Deng, then start working on 2015 and 2016. We need to get on Ed Morrow, I have a feeling he will blow up soon. He played very well against Cliff Alexander and Jahlil Okafor this year. Then we need to find an outside shooter. I really like Andrew Fleming.
  15. I hate to say it, but Creighton could make a run. They can beat Wisconsin and Arizona (if they can get by us or Baylor).
  16. Even though Miles is a much better coach than Drew, Baylor will be a tough matchup. We usually don't play well against zones, and I don't know if we can stop Isaiah Austin and Cory Jefferson inside.
  17. Doc will be in San Antonio too! It'll be like a reunion down there!
  18. Terran gets to play in Texas against a Texas school....I have a feeling he'll have a big game.
  19. Tim Miles vs. Scott Drew, I like our chances.
  20. Well, we better pack our bags for Dayton. Providence is out of the play-in round.
  21. We are about neck and neck with Tennessee. Same number of losses, same conference records (though we play in a better conference). They have a great win against Virginia, we have very good wins against Wisconsin and Michigan St. It will be very interesting to see who gets a higher seed.
  22. St. Bonaventure and Tennessee both up early.....not good
  23. Yep, Lunardi still has Villanova as a #1 seed. I wouldn't put too much stock in his seeding.
  24. I pray to God we don't draw VCU - did you see our press-breaker?
  25. Khyri Thomas from Benson was impressive. Got in foul trouble, but was almost unstoppable when he was in there. He's definitely D-I material IMO. The freshman from Norfolk will be a good one. Don't know if he'll be a D-I recruit unless he grows 4-5 more inches. Has a nice spin move in the post. Missed a lot of free throws though. Nobody else stood out to me at all.
