  1. Sam just went corner to opposite wing to close out and was in time. He brought the energy.
  2. How about we what happens here now that we may need to get our 10th guy some minutes? For what it’s worth, Dan Hurley plays a tight rotation and he just won back to back titles.
  3. I just hope if we’re in a spot where the coaches decide the team needs Gavin to get minutes, we get him in when we have some momentum instead of when we’re in a bad spot. The less pressure for those minutes the better. I’m sure the leash will be short. Against Maryland at least, I’m expecting us to go with Ulis more and play small with good ball handlers against their pressure.
  4. We beat Creighton and UCLA in those first 14, as well as Oregon State and Indiana. Almost got St. Mary’s too. I’m feeling even better about it today.
  5. I’m trying to remind myself that we started 12-2 with Meah and Ulis getting regular minutes. We can get through a few games scraping a new rotation together. We can do this.
  6. Martinelli is their best player and he’s still healthy.
  7. Oh I’m sure, those affect us both ways. I just believe if we’re in the field and they start looking at Q1 wins, bad losses, and road record, we’ll compare favorably to some teams that look to be a couple seed lines ahead of us right now based on these metrics alone. Right now bracketologists have us as a 10/11, the committee might put us higher than that if they selected today. History seems to think so too.
  8. I was peaking at resumes ahead of us in NET and it seems our adjustment to schedule stronger in the non-con (targeting teams not likely to be 300+) may have hurt our efficiency metrics. UCONN is almost 20 spots ahead of us with a Q4 loss and only three Q1 wins with about the same overall record (16-7). They also have four 30+ point blow out wins against teams ranked 300+ including one over 0-18 Maryland Eastern Shore, and another over a 250+ team. Those five teams are a combined 22-88. Our five worst opponents are 49-61, and we didn’t have the same margins of victory. We needed to blow out our early paid opponents by more to be further away from the bubble. On the flip side, if we just stay above that bubble, our road and Q1 wins should help us when it comes to seeding.
  9. His impact would have been bigger with a couple better entry passes. We missed him a couple times.
  10. Rollie! Don’t call that time out!
  11. I thought we would the whole game.
  12. Berke and Morgan in the post should be good in the second half, especially if Royal remains out
  13. We’ll come out of the half with energy.
  14. Rollie didn’t do a damn thing there!
  15. Wtf was the second on Morgan?!
  16. Just get up and move around every 15 minutes, don’t need to get Deep Vein Thrombosis.
  17. OSU has travelled out of a couple traps. Be nice if they’d call one since I know they’ll get Morgan for a good old fashioned jump stop and pivot at some point.
  18. Defense to offense works for me!
  19. They pry tried to check the CDC website for guidance but there was nothing there.
  20. Last night I was watching Duke vs. Clemson, close game, great basketball until the last minute. Then the fouling started and it drug to a crawl and took forever to finish up. In the B1G it seems teams start fouling earlier than the last minute to draw it out and try to claw back into the game. And they do it way too long, you’ll see teams down double digits with 0:30 seconds still playing the foul game. Today, both Maryland and Rutgers in the double bonus before the 4:00 media timeout. Those stoppages add up.
  21. My vote is for Mick!
  22. Because as a team we averaged like 56, lol.
