If we don’t get another rotationPF/4 I could see Brice sliding to the three and Essegian at the 2.
-
I’m a transplant up here, but this pecking order would explain why they let “row the boat” be printed on everything, even though the guy who brought it here would be gone with the first good offer.
-
In terms of how many minutes I expect players to get at each spot, this is what I see right now. 1 - Worster, Ulis, Sam 2 - Brice, Essegian, Griffiths, Janowski 3 - Griffiths, Gary, Brice, Frager 4 - Gary, Morgan, Brice, Bolis 5 - Morgan, Meah, Gary, Bolis Now if Bolis is capable of more minutes at the 4 and can be second in that pecking order, or we get someone else, Gary moves to the top of the rotation at the 3 with Griffiths behind him.

Are all the other parents fair weather fans?
-
Not really though, Brice was running point.
-
Worster/Ulis. He was playing point a lot toward the end of the year. That’s why I’m not as down on what we’ve added as some people. One more addition that is naturally a four/PF and we won’t have to play so many people needing to play out of position this year. Maybe that’s Bolis. Gary is more of a three than a four and Brice is more of a two than a one.

It’s quite puzzling. If Minnesota could keep the best players in just the twin cities, nevermind the rest of the state, they’d finish in the top 1/4 of the new Big Ten most years. Before NIL they were a coach that could recruit away from being a top tier Big Ten program. I don’t know what their NIL is like but it seems to be making it harder for them to keep local talent, so it must not be great.

Brice Williams is the Keisei replacement. Essegian is the Wilcher replacement. If you consider both ends of the floor, I would call this an upgrade.
-
It’s not that I don’t think he can, but he is undersized there against most teams. Just like I don’t think Brice can’t play point guard, but I’m glad he’s gonna get a season to focus on playing off the ball.

Took less time than it took me to get out of my hammock.

Okay.
-
Hell yeah! Forgot about Bruce!

Lawrence tried doing this last year with mixed results. I think he would have been better at it this year if we didn’t find a portal PG and he stayed, but he did what he could with the little time he had to prepare last year. I’ll always appreciate him for that. And I look forward to what we’ll look like with point guards playing point guard this year too.

Once in a blue moon or right after our first tourney appearance in a decade? Which were you expecting?
-
Could matter if it was their 13th scholarship, but at this point in portal combat, that’s unlikely.
-
That’s too bad. I really wanted them to overlap.

I don’t know enough about knee operations, maybe because I’m still under 40. But without a major injury, like a torn ligament, what kind of knee operation would keep someone off the court for a whole season?
-
The way Fred can make them want to come here is continuing to make the tournament, and finally winning a game there. For every class from 2017 to now we had only made the tournament once in their lifetime, and we all know how it ended. Think about the football team. If they didn’t have their history, are we really expecting kids from Ainsworth with offers from every blue blood to want to play for a lower level P5 program just because it’s in Lincoln?
-
Wonder what happened at the end of the season for him. Averaged 15 pts/game but had just 23 total points in the last 5.
-
Coaches get older, they stay the same age.
-
Worster was 9.9 and Morgan was 12.9.

Put both feet out the door, then stepped back in to audition against us and go 4/7 from deep in 12 minutes.
