    I’m not so sure. That year we made a run at the end to get in. I felt good about our chances this year in early January.

    How’s it going for you? I’ve been doing everything I can to distract myself this week, including TRYING to stay off of here, but it’s creeping in now. It’s really creeping in, and I don’t think I’ll be able to sleep now.

    At the B1G tournament rather than being on the bench and in on huddles like Blaise and Eli, Ramel sat with a cohort of other people about 15 feet behind the bench. I thought it was odd at first, but then remembered who it was and it seemed perfectly normal.

    I don’t think so, especially in basketball when it is 5 more minutes of the same rules. Football, MLB now, shootouts in soccer, sure. But basketball is great because they just keep playing the game and it does tell you things about the qualities the teams possess. Be that an ability to defend without fouling or how deep your bench goes, or anything else. That’s just how I feel about it. And I’m gonna leave it at that.

    The idea of these metrics is to measure everything that wins and loses don’t. Ignoring data is bad science. That game measured that Oklahoma had more depth, I suppose. I was eight years old and don’t recall.

    And ISU only has one loss out side of Q1 in those 30+ games. NC has 4. ISU has passed NC in most metrics, even BPI that includes moon phases and the farmer’s almanac. It’s only non-con SOS where they’re behind them. I just really think they did enough to get the one seed, and yesterday made it so with an exclamation point.

    I just don’t know how you can watch NC and ISU yesterday, but then point at Non-con SOS and give it to NC.

    Yeah, I think their chances of getting that 1 seed are better than 50/50 because of how they won yesterday. So now if we want Omaha, we need to match up with that, so 8/9 seed. Could also happen that they don’t get the 1 seed, we do get a 7 seed and we’re both in Omaha that way. I just think that’s less likely and don’t think any of today’s results will change anything. We’re just waiting now.

    It was there most of the day yesterday. His end of day update must have moved us down with the loss. If Iowa State is taking the 1 seed from NC, 8 would increase the chances the of Omaha though. Seems this morning he doesn’t think ISU has climbed to a one.

    Why would we fall to the 10? We’re already a 7 according to him. We just need to fall to the worst 7.

    I’ll take some of those grapes. I do not like Underwood at all. And Hawkins can pound sand. They gave him so much rope with the mouthing he was doing during timeouts. He deserved a T when he was literally in our huddle.

    Then play better in OT? Why do they treat it like it doesn’t count? It’s five more minutes of basketball. They’re punished for what they do in that five minutes.
