  1. I mean, you did start this comparison of players on NBA rosters with Nebraska vs Creighton and Iowa, then I responded referencing “they” meaning both schools. Don’t know where that threw you for a loop, but I hope you can’t get out of it soon and rejoin us in the real world.
  2. I was talking about Iowa as much as I was Creighton. Maybe that line of thinking is in your head more than it is in mine.
  3. That can certainly be true for system based teams that over achieve. But NBA rosters are full of former Duke, Kentucky, Kansas, Baylor, Gonzaga etc. players.
  4. That really makes it hurt, considering what we’ve done with that talent vs what they have done.
  5. Well, Georgia was 16-16 with Edwards. Just two years later they were 6-26.
  6. This is my favorite Al Pastor at home recipe. Like you said, you don’t need the rotisserie (aka spit), it comes together like a loaf, then you slice it thin and can get a similar texture to off a spit after some broiling. https://www.seriouseats.com/food-lab-tacos-al-pastor-slideshow Now, if I’m at a food truck or a Mexican restaurant that says they have Al Pastor and there isn’t a spit to be found in the place, then they don’t have Al Pastor. And you’re likely to be very disappointed.
  7. One was not enough? https://huskers.com/sports/mens-basketball/roster/emmanuel-bandoumel/44064
  8. Absolutely was Phillips 66!
  9. Elite or top 100? The Big Ten sent six teams to the tourney last year outside the top 50 in adjusted defense.
  10. Maybe more tough competition early will get us gelling earlier in the season? Seems we get better after a handful of conference games under Hoiberg and play better down the stretch. Not sure if I really believe that, just trying to be optimistic.
  11. They won 73 in a season….. As someone who watches most of their games, Memphis was our toughest series in these playoffs.
  12. Especially last year, when his home country was hosting the Olympics.
  13. I must be too young for this thread.
  14. If I was being recruited by both and didn’t have any allegiances, it would be pretty easy to pick Wisconsin honestly. That’s a beautiful campus, great college town and they’ve been winning at a high rate.
  15. If we have a high % of 3pt attempts but more of them are coming from the inside out, we’ll make more. That and cutting the hero ball COULD make a big difference.
  16. One thing I just thought in terms of NIL, it will be used, if it isn’t already, to get guys off your team as well as on your team. Need a scholarship? Make another player’s NIL money go away.
  17. This is my hat.
  18. I remember Rodney coming to a basketball camp I attended as a 10-12 year old in Grand Island. First time I saw someone do a windmill dunk in real life and I’ve been cursing my sub-6-foot genes since.
  19. He chose the agent as some point. Maybe he regrets that decision, maybe he was misled, maybe not.
  20. Kind of like all the minor leagues in baseball.
  21. He hasn’t had a chance to do anything but verbalize it. Just because he said that doesn’t mean he’s not in the gym. I just have zero understanding of what your expectations for this kid are having been a commit for less than 24 hours.
  22. It’s the offseason, so he can only talk. And this is his introduction to us Nebraska fans. I personally like the confidence. Making the NCAA tournament is certainly a team accomplishment he mentions. No need for us to project our collective frustration with our lack of success onto a young man who just committed to try and bring us success. Welcome to Nebraska, Juwan!
  23. Or how much hair is on his legs!
