Bolden hasn't said anything publicly that I'm aware of. He hasn't said publicly that Louisville is a contender and he hasn't said publicly that Michigan is a contender either. So, as of now, I'm not going to let these facts rule us out of the equation. He's not out of our league. He's not out of the equation just yet. Maybe when he finally does speak, and we get some more information, we will learn that Bolden isn't really looking to come here. Who knows? But for now we know that Nebraska has offered him a scholarship. We know that Harriman does have the connected with Bolden's father. And we know that Robin wrote an article with the title: "Huskers among leaders for Aussie standout Bolden". You don't pen that title without Nebraska at least being in the equation. For now.

I think if Benny earns the playing time, it would mean that he has improved his game quite a bit...that isn't a bad thing, but it would be a bit surprising to me.  Benny has a lot of heart, and can do some good things, yet he had some pretty glaring holes in his game that was exposed by conference coaches.  At points last season, Benny was left unguarded.  That is certainly not a rip on Benny.  The kid could have left, but instead he stayed with the hope of improvement.
 
I would not be shocked if Benny redshirts.  We will see.

This is indeed a basketball site, and I would be surprised by any result that did not have Coach Miles either first or a very, very close second.  I think Coach Miles has the ship headed in the right direction.  My only hesitation is that we have been down this road a lot as a Husker basketball fan.  Yet, this trip seems different, and for that feeling, I am pretty darn happy.
 
I join HB and a few others with their view on Bo.  The man is doing a very good job.  He has rebuilt the foundation of the team, which is extremely difficult to do.  It is my observation that the direction of his program is up. 
 
I look at almost every program at UNL and think it is heading in the right direction.  There may be a hiccup up two, but generally, the UNL athletic house is in good shape with good coaching staff's in place. 

We are an improving Big Ten team, no reason not to think we cannot compete for the championship.  It is time to start surprising some folks.

In 17 years as a varsity sport, Nebraska has become one of the top programs in the nation. Nebraska Coach Bill Straub has guided the Huskers to unprecedented success, winning national titles in 1991, 1995, 1997, 1999, 2001, 2004, 2005, 2009 and 2013.

I won't miss the Runza...I really won't miss the smell of spoiled cabbage. Of course I am in the minority, but the taste and smell of the Runza rank as horrible. But...they make a pretty darn good burger!

It would seem to me that any incoming freshman or recruit would get pretty excited when reading this...

We are easily and oftentimes confused with the Boston Red Sox...just ask Jimmy.

Look at Shavon's dad...I would say he has the potential to put on size. 

It will be a very interesting season.  Coach Miles can roll out a variety of line-ups.  We have a players that can play a number of positions.  It will be fun.

I have no real clue who the starters will be...that my friends is a good thing given the talent upgrade that has taken place.
