  1. Grab the Cali big (would be a frosh) and count me as one happy camper.
  2. Yes! Happy new year!!!
  3. Given how his shot looked last year, he wouldn't have sniffed the rim if he had shot a 3.
  4. Don't really know...but if you were at the game and looked around, you would have seen about 10K, not 14K.
  5. Liked our defense. Mack would have had 12 to 15 assists if his teammates would finish. We missed 12 layups if my count was correct. Also missed 6 or so wide open threes. Folks, the offense works but players need to make plays.
  6. Tickets sold...there weren't that many butts in the seats though.
  7. Donovan is a good kid and a very good player. I wish him the best. From everything I have heard, this decision was a long time coming and it started when Tim was let go. Philosophically the new staff and Donovan were not on the same page. Nuff said in my mind. Again, I wish Donovan well...I hope that he goes to a school that we never face. And if we do have to play against him or his team, I only hope we run over him like a squirrel on the road and leave him as road kill...metamorphically speaking of course.
  8. I pray that the right team shows up today!
  9. Thank you. There is an enormous amount of time before next season rolls around. I guess speculation is fun...but right now my speculation relates to what team and players are going to "show up" at our next game!
  10. The kid has to make a decision that is right for him and his family. I have no issues with his decision. I know his brother had to make an equally tough decision and chose Wisconsin. Nebraska fans struggle to understand why anyone would not choose Nebraska, but a lot goes into these decisions. What sort of caught me like a punch was his choice of words. It seems to me that he threw some shade at the program/staff. Nebraska is the right place, but it is not the right time?
  11. Welcome!
  12. We have made progress, but let's see if that progression continues. No need to set expectations beyond game to game improvement.
  13. I saw that as I was leaving the PBA, and was amazed. Certainly 8 or 10 came late as they were throwing them up attempting to come back, but with Purdue's inside presence, what were they thinking throwing so many up? I guess, I will give credit where credit is due. Our game planning and defensive effort was spot on. KUDOS.
  14. Painter was outcoached. Hope the big guy is okay...that was a sick sound when he hit the floor. Everyone who played contributed. This is the team I was hoping for. I thought Purdue would dominate the paint. Our swarming defense was fun to watch. I thought Purdue would dominate the rebounding battle. We went to war and held our own. Proud of the guards for banging underneath Kavas has got to find his outside shot. When we shoot the three in the flow, it looks great. When we jack them at first touch, not so much. Thor is a gamer. He certainly is a glue player, but oftentimes, he is much more. Damn, that was a terrific game by Cam. Wow, the first triple double EVER in the history of the program. WOW. Burke played pretty darn good as well. Nice win men!. Very nice win.
  15. I love the improvement since the Creighton game. Played like a team tonight.
  16. Back breaker. Gotta make the chip shots
