It's so nice to hear Coach Yori talk about having depth with excitement in her voice. So ready for the season and am thrilled I can watch next Sunday.

At least Northern Arizona is at home. I recall seeing the Huskers slide around on their terrible floor and needing JHoop & Zeroes heroics to win that one a few years ago.

I find it hard to believe these coaches haven't seen her play against players on the roster. Do we really think this staff would burn a scholarship on something unknown? I don't think so. Connie Yori and co. are no fools. I'm biased, but still believe I'm right. Ostrander is more than a practice player.

Wow...coaches actually held segregated practices. At Illinois. Probably should have stayed at Green Bay. Though it's gratifying when someone successful has to learn the hard way this isn't 1950 any more. Hello coach rupp.

To be fair, the Hardwood has the same banner. I agree though, it needs some loving either way. This is a fantastic site, worthy of some PBA magic. The most wonderful sight I've ever seen in basketball is the crowds at PBA with the chanting, confetti, etc. Would love to see some of that awesomeness.

Women just got the right to vote less than 100 years ago. Title IX in 1972? Who thought 20 years ago discussing a female president was realistic? Things take time to change. Stop looking for the magic charm in FIBA rules. Perennial sweet 16/elite 8 type stuff and we'd see sellouts in Nebraska. Give guys the out of "they're really effing good" and that's all it would take. Even old guys who wouldn't even consider going now.

Rules are rules. That said, times are changing. I'd rather my kids use cannabis than drink beer or smoke tobacco. I'm not going to endorse their doing so, but that's the truth.

Ha! Now that sounds like the take of a married man and I agree wholeheartedly.

Don't care too much for that coach. Kind of rubs me the wrong way somehow. But I realize she can really recruit/motivate on a consistent basis so respect for that. Saw no problem with the cutout/jersey and 'bust the president's bracket' thing. That's coming from a staunch supporter of President Obama (if it matters at all).

Going to miss the seniors. Proud of them all. Ready for next season!
