To me, clearly better than last year. Our ability to rotate players at the post will be huge in the BIG. Our lack of depth last year hurt us in many games. I hear the argument about not having athleticism but we have a lot of length. That can overcome some of the athleticism. We also have Juwan playing at a different (higher) level of intensity and productivity. As he goes, this team goes. And Brice is better than last year and appears to be on track to average 18+. I'm probably drinking too much big red Kool-Aid but I fully expect us to be in the tourney and a better seed than last year.

Thanks for sharing! I had missed that being posted. Fun watch!

Transfers are allowed any time but they aren't allowed to play for more than one school during the same season for a given sport.

Really excited about this one. Range and length. Add some weight and he could be great in Fred’s offense.

Frankie Fidler - Transfer -> Mich State
Buglem replied to hhcmatt's topic in Husker Hoops Recruiting
When Sharp was talking about his conversation with Frankie, he referenced the option of coming back to Omaha. Wouldn't be totally surprised if he was back at Omaha next year. At this point, I'd be more surprised if he commits to the Huskers than any of the other schools. I'd love it but I still suffer from the Nebrasketball ailment where I believe we can't have nice things and that things can't be easy for us. -
Frankie Fidler - Transfer -> Mich State
Buglem replied to hhcmatt's topic in Husker Hoops Recruiting
I was listening to Sharp's show when he announced that Fidler would name his school on Monday. He made an interesting comment about how Fidler was lucky that he had two high character local head coaches (Fred and Greg) that gave him an honest evaluation of where they see him fitting at a Power 5/6 school. He didn't elaborate but just said that the portal world was tough because you have a lot of people out there that aren't being honest with kids about their roles. -

BTW, love the question Dave!

10000% this. The monkey on our back is the size of King Kong and needs to go away for this program to take a step forward.

CJ did that a couple times last night after Gary made 3's. One time he came out on the court during a break to greet him doing the same gesture. One of the funniest things I've seen on the court in a long time! -
I’ll echo Norm and his comments. I told my wife that we pass the eyeball test. In the past, that’s not been true.

Good call. That’s my hometown and I didn’t know that was in Safeway.

I think we are all missing the point here. Mainly, when did Sidney get a Starbucks?

How close were we? = How close are we?

If you didn’t hear Sam Griesel’s interview on Sharp & Handley, you should give it a listen. Sam is the ultimate when it comes to repping the Scarlet and Cream. That alone makes it worth a listen. He also drops a couple nuggets regarding the roster for next year. Mentions that Keisei may be largely basing his decision on what the rest of the roster looks like. There’s also a reference to “recruiting” by Sharp that Sam was pretty coy about but could be related to the NDSU big guy (but nothing specific was mentioned). -
2022 F Isaac Traudt - Virginia->Creighton
Buglem replied to Navin R. Johnson's topic in Husker Hoops Recruiting
This morning on 1620, Gary Sharp said Traudt was leaving Virginia and he expected him to end up at Creighton. Has anyone heard that he’s leaving Virginia? -
I’ve heard there might be a big “fish” interested in migrating back home. Anyone else hearing that?

uneblinstu's postgame chatter: vol 15, ed 26: vs Wisconsin
Buglem replied to HuskerFever's topic in The Haymarket Hardwood
Catching up on some threads after being away from the forum for a while. Nice call by everyone who gave us no shot at Rutgers (neither did I). Seriously, reading these comments, is Rutgers the biggest and most surprising win of the year? I would’ve said the Creighton game couldn’t be topped in that aspect but maybe this did it? -
