RK is taking over Gibbs' role of dirtiest player on Creighton. He tackled Bridenbach at least 2 times in our game, and now just tackled a DePaul player. At least they called a foul on him this time.
I have no idea on any medical redshirt rules. I will say if you take a redshirt year your 1st year and have a season ending injury later, I feel you should still get a medical redshirt. Most of the time you take a redshirt year to improve in practice. You know your playing time is going to be limited to mop up minutes. You aren't planning on getting injured later in your career.
Didn't Shatel say no one from Nebraska would crack Creighton's top 10. I'm starting to wonder if any Creighton player would start for Nebraska. They are about to lose to a very bad BYU team.
I see the difference between Frost and Fred coming down to stubbornness. Frost was going to make his system work come hell or high water. It did not work in the Big 10. Hoiberg has got a team that is focused on defense. Much against a typical Hoiberg team. I think that gives Hoiberg a little longer leash. Now, if we go 3 - 17 in conference, we can't keep Fred.
Bad news : Outside of Minnesota, I see no sure conference wins.
Good news : Outside Purdue, Iowa, and Rutgers road games, I see no sure conference losses.
Can someone explain to me how Bandonmeal did not get free throw attempts after the Purdue sandwich? Purdue was in the double bonus, and it was not a player control foul.
If you would have told me Johnson and Kopp was 1 - 8 from 3, and Jackson-Davis had 12 points, I would have thought we had a great chance to win and never imagined losing by 16.
