Also I will throw this out there... But wouldn't Voochie kind of fit in that we throw a scholarship at a kid and hope something good happens. Great kid, great student just could get good enough to get on the court.

Is there any sort of qualitative difference between whining and expressing grave concern? I've pointed out several times that leaving a scholarship open for two years is like a self-imposed probation with scholarship reduction. If we do it again, how many spots will we be leaving open? Is there any point in time at which it's OK to express concerns or reservations about something Miles is doing? Well whining is done by people you don't like or know. Expressing grave concerns come people we know and like. Duh!

I don't have a problem because sports get now state funding. I would if they did get funding that had to be cut from other places. Other than that if they make the money , they can spend the money.

like,I said earlier I am very happy with who we have signed already for this class. So anybody from now on would be just really nice. Would help us, but won't kill kill us. We do need to keep an eye on these couple of guys to se how they do at the other schools that they picked over us. So far most of our misses from the last couple of years have been misses at their other school also.

I think swan is seeing the same way I am and that is if you listen to some of their more vocial fan base one would think that they had a great year last year and every year since they won their one title. I don't see them as being the same team next year so they may be better, but to read what some said to try to get him to not come here where made up to sound better than they are/were. I also agree that mom and dad may have the biggest swing vote in all of this. He was going to Tennessee first, it is not like he is just looking for the first time. Don't know if this helps us or not, but we kind of are like Tennessee if you kind of think about it.

But if you read any of the UNLV fans tweets you would think that they won the NCAA last year. The one guy even told Cornish to come here because they raise banners. Ooooookaaaayyyyyy. We will be fine, we already have some guys signed this year that on paper might not be what we think we need, but they will keep,this program from dropping and will only help to build. The other two Deng and Cornish would just be cherries on top. We just aren't "there" yet with the "it" players but we will be. We will be.

Great to hear. I guess you can study on two buses and a subway to and from school! That is the kind of kid I really want playing here.

Yeah kind of like talking about some other girl your taking to prom while on a date with the girl you aren't taking to prom. I think he may be too big city for us. You know it is kind of .... Relaxed around for some of our youth.

Okay I said that I don't like to worry about recuiting because too much is going on in these kids life to read anything into what they say, tweet, etc... However since I am a bit bored I have been following Jordan's tweeter. He only seems to retweet the UNLV things that are tweeted to him. He has had some good stuff from Husker fans but he doesn't retweet that. So this will be the only time I will ever try to guess what some player is thinking. But he seems to like what UNLV is saying. Just a gut feeling but I don't see him in a Husker uniform next year. But like Dimes said, could see him in two years.. maybe.
