Yeah I noticed a camera guy operating a steadicam in front of the student section at one point, and that reminded me that they'll be featuring this game this week. Would have been nice to have it turn into a win and a massive court-rush, but oh well...

Going back through game threads from last year I can tell we did alternates in the following games: "Made In March" alts in the B1G tourney The 60's alternates (which may be my personal fave of all time) posted above by uneblinstu vs. Iowa Black roadies @Michigan and that's it. I guess, unless I missed it, I was wrong. This is the first time we've gone with these throwbacks.

I am convinced we wore these last year, but I can't find any references to alternate jerseys for last year on here, so perhaps I'm mistaken. At any event I hope they bring us some luck.

Why do you hate Calipari? Like him or not, the dude wins a lot of games every year. My dislike comes from the belief Calipari is pretty good at breaking the rules. He is the only head coach to have Final Four appearances vacated at more than one school. He has left the schools behind before the sanctions come down so the schools get punished while he is on to the next job. It isn't worth much discussion because it is old news...but it was nice to see a team we beat come back from 21 down to beat them. This is the important part.

Meanwhile, they've got Trimble, Carter and Stone forming a legitimate triple threat with Layman, Suliamon and Dodd being pretty stout in their own right. I mean, I guess I can't disagree with them. We've got a serious uphill battle brewing for us tonight.

The prevailing thought among the Terps faithful is that the only offensive threat on our team is Shavon, who they look at as being a "chucker". All they need to do is put Layman on him and lock him down and we're cooked. I can't say they're absolutely wrong, but we have had guys emerge as offensive threats in games in the past. It could happen again.

...and we're at #97 today, so look for us to be back below the 100 line tomorrow. Or is it above, I can't ever get it right. To put it another way, I full expect us to be back in triple digits tomorrow.
