"Rock Bottom" is finishing 4-8 or worse, NOT making the Tournament, seeing Miles dismissed, and having a misinformed fan base (I'm being polite) wonder why Lue and Hoiberg aren't chomping at the bit to Coach in Lincoln.

I only brought it up because someone mentioned we needed a "Frost-like" Coach for basketball who could wring out the maximum ability from a limited roster, (assuming that's what Frost did last season) Yes, there is no real comparison, I get that. It just puzzles me how quickly everyone is willing to turn on Miles, who beat a Top 25 team on the road a whole week ago (remember)? And yet, since Frost is "one of us" he's given an extra long leash regardless of any outcome because we like to believe what happened at UCF will, no questions asked, happen here. Lot's of games left, and a lot more highs and lows, if we can finish .500 or better this will just be filed away in the bad loss column. Next up Ohio St.

At this point NOT making the Tournament would require a face plant & Miles would be gone. Time will tell...

If Moos is gonna can Miles, (which I hope he doesn’t) he better have someone in his hip pocket. I don’t want to hear about a “search committee” at seasons end if that’s how it plays out. Let’s remember this is the same team that beat Indiana a WHOLE week ago...

Let’s hire Frost to Coach the football AND the basketball team. Then maybe he can “Coach em Up” to a 4-8 record.

Here’s an OBTW... that Michigan team we beat by 20 last year in Lincoln played for the National Title. Is this years MSU team better than that? Perhaps. Those Badger teams, and a number of Big XII teams other than Kansas. OU had some very good teams, Mizzou, Durant @ Texas. As someone above mentioned, don’t allow yerself to be too swayed by the here & now.

Last years KU was better, Wisconsin that went to the Final Four was better, that was a nice MSU team but hardly anything to get all that jazzed about. If we would have shot 50% from the field we win...

He doesn’t have a scorers mentality “yet”, guys that make you pay for leaving them open, guys who can carve out space & get a shot up. He’d be a fool to leave this year.

I read or heard somewhere that we’re favored by Kenpom in 9 of the next 10. We’ve all said this is the point in the schedule where we need to “put the hay in the barn.” My fear is we drop a home game to a Buckeye or Badger squad. It’s gonna be a slog, but need to play inspired ball & keep improving.

When the offense bogs down, we don’t have that “back to the basket” Center to dump the ball down into. Instead we clear out on an ISO for Palmer, Watson or Copeland in that order. Would love to see us push the tempo more, and share the ball.
