How can a school THAT close to Chicago be so wildly inconsistent? I guess it has something to do with Champaign/Urbana itself, I spent a summer there & it's not terribly different than Hastings. Think "Risky Business", if kids from the Western suburbs don't get an Ivy League scholarship it's Hello University of Illinois!

As a long time Mpls resident, Gopher fans have a wildly inflated view of their program. Some cling to the McHale/Thompson days, others the Final Four run (cheating on a GRAND scale) so when Tubby got hired they thought, Final Four “blue blood” pedigree. I lived in Mpls for 25 years and my first encounter with Twitter was at the Twins games.There was a ribbon board in the outfield that would run and endless stream of "tweets" throughtout the game as people commented on the action on the field. I told my buddy, "Why do I care what every dumba** up and down the street has to say about a game I'm watching right in front of me"? Thankfully the Twins have ended that practice, but my feelings regarding Twitter haven't changed

Both Jacobson & Morrow we’re power forwards, not traditional back to the basket Centers, we all know that. Would they have been a better option @ the 5 then Jordy, perhaps. But playing the “what if” game doesn’t help us moving forward. Borchardt/Heiman need to be serviceable, Copeland/Roby need to be a threat on the block & get the other guy in foul trouble for a change.

Granted he was limited, but that’s 5 more fouls and a big body to lean on Bruno and Nick Ward.

This might be blasphemous for some, but if Jordy T would have hung around this is a very different team. Our lack of a legit #5 has become more problematic than I’d thought, especially in Conference. Too bad we couldn’t get Brady in the Hot Tub Time Machine & get the 2021 version...

I went on the Nebraska Basketball Twitter feed after the Maryland game and was shocked by the sheer volume of BS. Most of it is just people trying to out “troll” each other, if that’s even a thing.
