  1. Well... it was looking like USC was going to take over this game, but Colorado came back from 12. They now have a 2-point lead over USC with 12:00 to go.
  2. If the Pac-12 wasn't so prominent on the bubble these past few weeks, there is no way I would deal with listening to Walton for more than 30 seconds.
  3. During the Colorado/USC broadcast: "I'm going to go with five (Pac-12 teams) at a minimum (come Selection Sunday)."
  4. Lunardi's Bubble Watch as of Feb. 19: Last Four Byes Virginia Tech: vs Clemson, Saturday vs Louisville Providence: Thursday vs Seton Hall, Saturday at Georgetown Kansas State: vs Texas, Saturday at Oklahoma NC State: vs Boston College, Sunday vs Florida State Last Four In Baylor: vs West Virginia, Saturday at TCU Texas: at Kansas State, Saturday vs Oklahoma State St. Bonaventure: vs Duquesne, Saturday at VCU Syracuse: vs North Carolina, Saturday at Duke First Four Out UCLA: Thursday at Utah, Sunday at Colorado USC: at Colorado, Saturday at Utah Washington: Thursday at Stanford, Saturday at California Nebraska: vs Indiana, Sunday vs Penn State Next Four Out Penn State: vs Michigan, Sunday at Nebraska Utah: Thursday vs UCLA, Saturday vs USC Boise State: at Colorado State, Tuesday at San Diego State Georgia: at South Carolina, Saturday vs LSU
  5. Colorado up on USC by 3 after 25% of the game.
  6. There's a difference between "knowing" a program is dirty and *knowing* a program is dirty. But aside from that, we've known Louisville was a garbage dumpster and it hasn't affected them that much. Sure, they've had some games taken away from them, but those $M's they're rolling in more than support the university and build up other things like their football program.
  7. Here's another option: https://www.paypal.com/donate/?token=V6do_7WF3NTPJNBXGaxL16XfOQH93Q7RZWJThuE8tpA7CpghVZ0epYYGZPU9P2Ld3fCJIG&country.x=US&locale.x=US
  8. Syracuse/UNC tied at 74 with 2:22 to go. Also VaTech beating Clemson 57-45 with 2:33 to go. Big boys came to play tonight.
  9. The only thing is that all their losses have come to teams either in the field or on the bubble. But you're right, this might be a "nice to have" loss.
  10. I don't think this was favorable to Seton Hall who had been making a good run. But I can see a faint crowd benefiting them as well.
  11. Texas Tech not doing us any favors right now. And Seton Hall/Providence... "Suspended due to unplayable court"??
  12. Updating throughout the night.
  13. Say what you want, but not many coaches can say at the end of their careers that they left it all on the (Italian restaurant) table...
  14. It's possible that we'd have to play Penn State twice in this scenario.
  15. Tough one, but I'm going with Michigan. We need to hang on to that Tier 1 win as much as possible. Without it our resume just got a little more unimpressive. My thought is we need to beat Penn State anyway, so why does it matter if Michigan wins or loses their game against them?
  16. For best results it should just happen organically.
  17. I'm not sure how @HuskerActuary feels on the matter, but I certainly wouldn't put too much faith in terms of where they rank us in the field/bubble. That really only helps for the team's who have nearly all 100+ brackets reflect where they stand. If we're only in 10 or so brackets, you're missing out on a lot of data of where we actually stand since it only reflects whether you're in the field or not. Lunardi would have a much more accurate prediction of the bubble teams than this aggregate source. What I do find value in this source is: of the brackets that have us in, where do they put us?
  18. Believe it or not, our worst case scenario leaves us with only 3 more games remaining this season. It's so hard to believe it's late February. I truly hope we have all been able to enjoy and appreciate this season. We're not only fighting for an NCAA tournament bid on Sunday, but we're fighting for a memorable season, the start of many more entertaining Februaries, the rise in expectations, the continuing fun culture of the bench mob, and national prowess. I've had such a great time rooting for these guys and it's certainly been an entertaining one. Let's do our parts and send these seniors out strong and maybe they'll be able to come back with a couple of NCAA tournament wins under their belts. Go. Big. Red.
  19. NCAA Tourney Team - 70 NIT Tourney Team - 66
  20. And soon to be 16-14 #5 seed Oklahoma
  21. Definitely. Nearly all these games in the final two weeks will be grey areas. For this particular one, I'm leaning toward the "if we don't beat Penn State, we have much more work than one win in the Big Ten tournament" crew, so Michigan competing for #4/#5 is not an issue for me. Beat Penn State and beat Michigan and we're in.
  22. That's the million dollar question. They've done a really good job at scheduling teams that aren't too good, but also scheduling teams that aren't too bad. We've got a little bit of both. I honestly believe that if we can get a little more stable roster, Miles will more than exploit a schedule for us that gets us a favorable RPI that requires only 17-18 wins in a season to get a "First Four Bye" or better at-large bid for us.
  23. It's late. I celebrated too much. I'll fix it.
