Powerade (not garbage)... Body Armor is a much more superior product...
just my 2 cents. Opinions are for discussion and I had to state me just like you.
I'm trying to stay optimistic about the Indiana game. If the team shows up and plays like they did in the Fall semester, then the momentum and energy will come back.
But you're 100% right. We've been fortunate the last couple of years in terms of injuries. The margin is very thin this season.
Haha I Dabble in good beers and bad. Just depends on the night. Some times you need to drown your sorrows with a dozen Busch Lights.
Since we're on the topic, Iowa State fans nearly single handedly cleared out the beer at this most recent Alamo Bowl:

The crowd just felt pretty tepid on TV for about 80% of the game. Like they were just waiting for the team to put that run together to put the game out of reach. And I'm sure they were just as anxious as those watching on TV thinking "we really need to pull out a win in this game right now."
I'm sure it wasn't as bad in person, but it wasn't near the type of enthusiasm we've seen in other home games this year.
Personally, I think Watson should have run more clock but I understand why he took it when I factor in he was making circus shots the last 4 minutes of the game and his confidence was trending up quickly. It also was a pull up from something like 12 feet which is his best shot all the time. If he hits that shot the game is over and everyone is talking about him being a stud with nerves of steel.
You know... it sure beats letting the clock run to 5 seconds and throw up a wild three point shot.
Exactly...the atmosphere is dead, no energy from the team or fans. Someone needs to make a hustle play and create a spark.
If this season doesn't take a turn for the better, this is starting to remind me of the 2010-2011 season.
