Nevada was definitely a team we needed to beat, and should have beat. But that also speaks to the level we're playing at as well (Nevada 132, Nebraska 120). To me, Georgia Tech isn't yet a bad loss; we'll certainly know much more early Jan. Outside of those two games so far, the results seem to speak for themselves.

Really think Hoiberg can turn this into a fun series. As mentioned in a prior post, I'm all about the in-state competition; Nebraska needs to get back to holding their end of the bargain to make the series tolerable however.

TWO THINGS THIS HHCC ROUND: 1) Score prediction for Nebraska at Wisconsin (as usual). 2) (BONUS -5 points) Predicting the winning percentage of the conference season (Dec. 21-Mar. 7) -- (e.g. I am looking for an answer like "100%," which indicates the percentage of: Nebraska Conference Wins / Total Nebraska Conference Games.) Because there are a lot of unknowns due to COVID-19 this season, I am switching from absolute number of wins to winning percentage. This is something that hasn't been done before, but we'll give it a shot. Based on some quick scenario analyses, I'm going to give a +/- 5 percentage point grace range for your prediction. For instance, if you predict a 50% winning percentage, I will accept 45% thru 55% if Nebraska's conference winning percentage falls within that window. This will provide some flexibility if Nebraska is forced to cancel any games for any reason (a cancelled game will not count toward Nebraska's Total Game count).

Late to the party here and haven't read anything from the board yet, but here's my takeaways: How many 2' shots did we miss in that game? We need to minimize these 7-0 type of runs; feel like there were 5+ of these tonight We started off fairly well, but we just couldn't keep up, and we had many breakdowns on defense Free throws, free throws, free throws Hoiberg had visible frustration, especially slamming the ball down; immediately after that the team temporarily responded and kept up the pace There's certainly a talent gap; part of that losing out on shooting talent Most points for the Bluejays against Nebraska kind of surprises me, but I don't think that's the end of it with Hoiberg teams, this sort of pace will continue to be a scoring battle between both teams I completely embrace the competition, it's just frustrating we struggle to hold our end of the bargain in modern history in this series
