I agree on your premise, but there's no free lunch. Unless you increase roster sizes or regulate NIL, this leaves out a sizeable number of high school kids from getting offers. Maybe JUCO benefits the most from this proposal?

This can't be good. Roster size limits are already shrinking and incoming freshman are going to have a hard time competing for a spot.

Any chance there's a quick way to see our ranking at the end of each calendar year? It sure seems we're in the best position we've been, at this point in the season, in a very long time.

Here's to a successful holiday tournament from our squad. Played the best available talent in the tournament and came out with three wins. This team is starting to gel at the right time. Nebraska knows how to take a "sure thing" and turn it into a one-score game (whether 1-score winning or 1-score losing).

This is what we do. We take a game where we should be leading by 28 and keep the opponent in it to the end.

We need more out of our offense. Especially next season. If our defense hasn't shown up, BC likely scores on at least one of the three "going for it on 4th down" drives. 7 of our 20 points are from special teams. BC is in this game in the 4th simply from us not closing it out early.

This would be a very different game if our defense wasn't clicking well today. Frustrating that this isn't a 14+ score game, minimum.
