Average points per game for each player is 2.0/0.5/2.0/0.0/0.0. Average rebounds are 4.0/2.3/2.2/0.0/0.0. I'm not sure defeating an in-state opponent to win in-state talent is the major sticking point here.

It's easy to pick out who lives in Omaha and who doesn't A win or a loss versus a rival has little to no bearing to the outcome of the season. I don't have to live with the consequences of coworkers after this game, so that probably plays a role. But this is more people taking a rivalry personal than it is seeing for what it is. It's like the Big Ten trying to force a Nebraska/Iowa rivalry over Thanksgiving. It's whatever you make it. But vent away! Appreciate your perspective!

Just another game on the schedule, no different than any other. As with the prior games, I hope we start to gel as a team and exit the non-conference slate with a respectable record. I'm more excited about squaring off against some of these newcomers in the Big Ten.
