    I don't know when that happened, but my first game was Lue vs. Billups in 98, I believe. That game was fun.

    I've been a NU hoops fan for a long time and I never want to go back to the Bob again. It was a venue that was so out of place with everything NU teams played in it was laughable. I don't miss that place at all. What they've turned it into for volleyball is remarkable and is a terrific venue for them. That was never the case for hoops.

    He'll be able to defend at the NBA level, I think. He's always been able to get to the rim, so if he can make the adjustment and finish there, he'll give himself a chance. He's a good not great free throw shooter and will need to improve his outside shot. If he can do that, he could be a nice role player.

    Well, that's not Inigo Montoya. Also, I'm not convinced we're out of the woods yet. If the Jacobson/Watson rumors play out, I think things are gonna get more interesting before they settle down.

    That's a fair point. And probably more reliable than delivering an offer via text message, phone call, in-home visit or the United States Postal Service.

    I think Jordy has a lot of Karnowski in his game. Or if he puts in the work, he could be a similar player. Like the potential in this kid.
