I think they said all his top 10 did in homes with him minus UK and KU. So more passive interest from UK and KU. Creighton has been tabbed as a Top 10 team in about every "too-early" poll, so I know it'll make us all barf, but they are probably a Final 4 contender with him. Sucks but hard to blame the kid. We would probably be in good position if we knew how to win basketball games.

Yeah. Hard for me to dump on Miles too much for missing on him. There's a D1 team in Omaha that have been pretty damn good talent evaluators - and they weren't sniffing around Baylor either. This is not nearly as egregious as people have made it out to be.

Damn. Thought we had a chance. Kentucky has a 5-star combo guard in Cason Wallace that's projected to be a lotto pick. They have an All-SEC PG returning. CJ Fredrick who put up 10 ppg at Iowa will be competing for playing time at the guard spot. Not to say I don't understand why he chose Kentucky, but that's a place you can be really good and still be behind 3 guards for minutes...

Out of curiosity was Baylor on Miles radar at all? Did we offer a preferred walk on? Really didn't follow his recruitment at all.

Seems a little hash - I can't even find a Rivals or 247 page for him when he was in HS. Not a lot of kids with no recruiting profiles are getting offers from B1G schools.

4th in ERA, after losing our ace and another weekend starter + numerous BP pieces + losing one our weekend starters in-season. Hard for me to put much blame on the pitching this season. It's been good enough for us to compete.

I agree...but let's take that same philosophy and pump the breaks on assuming he's not a team player based on one quote - especially when 60 games at Bama say quite the opposite.
