  1. I'm running the 4 corners offense with no shot clock on this!
  2. Not sure if anyone noted this but Illinois State dropped out. I suspect that the main reason there hasn't been any announcements on the schedule for this event is because of the volatility
  3. I don't think Nebraska has some meaningful advantage in terms of revenue from endorsements. Sure we work with Opendorse but so do and will other schools. In terms of someone looking to 'Elbert Robinson' their college experience at no point is a 10 minute pitch about earning potentials going to outweigh a duffel bag with some cash in it because why not both? I put this stuff in the shiny arena/practice facility stuff that is more of a secondary selling point for the majority of guys.
  4. Keep in mind that Andre's competition for playing time is not just Yvan...it's Yvan, Walker, and Mayan I feel like you could take this entire argument and substitute in Jordy Tshimanga. Is freshman year Jordy playing 10-15 minutes for our 20-21 team?
  5. Absolute tragedy, Parker Stewart's father and coach, Anthony Stewart unexpectedly passed away at the age of 50.
  6. No rush, we have all the materials already from the other never-built statues
  7. Any chance McGowens ends up on the McDonalds All-American team?
  8. Since the dawn of the ranking system, he now becomes our highest ranked recruit. That honor was previously held by Glynn Watson.
  9. Left
  10. Nebraska Basketball gains the commitment of the first 5 star freshman in school history as Bryce McGowens chooses the Huskers over Georgia. The combination of family connections (will play alongside brother Trey next year) and Fred Hoiberg's fast paced offense proved to be an offer to good to pass up for McGowens, ranked in the top 30 for the class of 2021 by most national recruiting services. The 6'6" McGowens is noted for his size and skill combination and deep shooting range Initially signed to Florida St, McGowens decommitted in October of 2020 and Nebraska immediately entered into the picture with their previous recruitment of Bryce and Trey McGowens' presence. 13. As of 10 am, our balls are all still crystal with big Ns on them.
  14. Ludacris shouted out the 402. He did not explicitly mention the 706 or 762 area codes of Athens, Georgia.
  15. Brutal for sure. Also I had missed that the Jays are extensively chugging from the international schnapps bottle
  16. Very much a 'Things I know and things I think I know' Friday

  21. Looks like we'll know before lunch. BTW, the guy tweeting this has picked McGowens to chose Nebraska
  22. Akol Arop will miss the 2020-21 season following knee surgery last week. Arop had the procedure to address chronic issues with his left knee. According to Athletic Trainer R.J. Pietig, the surgery was a success and the recovery should take six months. With Trevor Lakes redshirting this season, this will leave Nebraska with 11 available scholarship players for this season. He'll enter the 2021-22 season as a redshirt sophomore. View full article
