Thinking highly of Smith doesn't diminish the legacy of Miles. If anything, Miles' ability to surround himself with good people seems like a trait to be celebrated, not discounted.

If life was fair, a pretty good basketball coach like Bruce Weber wouldn't have spent the majority of his career following up Bill Self and Frank Martin

He's won everywhere he's been as an assistant or a head coach. Not sure what he does in Utah but I don't think one loss in Missouri means more than the other 2 decades of results.

I was thinking the same thing watching the game. Bruce has had some lean years and is probably coaching for his job this season.

I don't think this will help with the shot selection issues. The real tragic part about Bryce's usage on this team is that from what I can tell he is likely to be highly coachable.

Tominaga is a good shooter taking some bad shots.

I'll give Barry Collier his first vote for being the only coach to quit before he could be fired.

It's a well thought out take. The buyout is at least $14 million on April 1st (I think I have my math right) so with Frost's next season pending the athletic department will need to figure how how much money there is to burn on yet another coach firing. Time will tell how compelled Fred will be to resign. Otherwise, if your a booster with the sort of money to payout Fred, hit me up in the DMs. I'm willing to turn this into fire fred hoops central for a relative bargain.
