We've come a long way from the RPI as the NET really resembles a Kenpom type ranking. However, at the end of the day wins and loses are meaningful and both Iona and Yale have compiled wins, even if it's against opponents inferior to ours. On the flipside their NET rankings are meaningless unless they automatically qualify for the NCAA tournament because of those type of opponents.
