  1. I'm sure he knows more than we do! Gonna be an exciting 2 months. I bet we see some more 2015 kids coming in too.
  2. True, but how interested is he in actually going to ATM? I think they are on the outside looking in to be honest. Wish we knew when each visit was taking place.
  3. Agree having mom coming along to see the facilities and to learn first hand about the academics and the academic support is great. I also think it's great that his parents are coming along and his coach as well. Doesn't hurt his coach is a husker fan and also good friends with Neil smith, who is supposed to be here too this weekend.
  4. Apparently. I read it on the internet somewhere.I think I read that somewhere too, don't remember where tho. I think he narrows it down to us and osu. He's got to make it to osu first, lets lock him up Tim!
  5. Impressive to get him to come here on his own dime. Never know what will happen down the road with this kid, but its good to get as many people here to see what we have to offer. Things will start to change.
  6. Robinson has already said that he plans on committing somewhere in November. Obviously, Miles knows what he wants and maybe he wants Wacker regardless of what Robinson does. But the best part about this is that we are in a position now where we don't absolutely have to take a guy like Wacker just because he wants to commit now. I doubt that Miles makes his determination on whether or not to take a Wacker commitment based on if Robinson commits this weekend or not. Miles may have a better feel on which way Robinson is going to go, but Elbert has already stated he's waiting until November. The Hoya article said he'd like to sign in early November, does that mean he'll commit then too? We never know what miles can do.
  7. I would agree our football enviroment might be better than Gtech but I could see him getting WOW'd more at OSU's football game enviroment than NU's. I just hope that fact that he already has a relationship with one of our assistants coaches will go along ways along with the new facilities which are better than OSU's. I'm keeping my fingers crossed as you'll see my running up and down O street screaming if we land this kid. I think that I would be joining you in the O street run, along with some others from here!!
  8. He has yet to decide that, but I would think it would be late September or early October.
  9. He said he really enjoyed their football game and loved how it went, just wait until the weekend and he experiences the huskers environment. Granted I have not been to a G tech football game, but you got to figure ours is going to be a total 180. He's going to love his visit and with his new "four" short list that he stated, I think our major competition is OSU. We have to do everything we can to lock him down before he gets to that visit. I'm hoping he ends up here, but I don't know.
  10. Yea I think wacker commits on Miles's in home. This would be after Robinson has already been here. Robinson may be the 3rd piece, but I don't think that he will commit on the spot, especially with so many big schools still on his visit list. Just have to wait and see.
  11. http://nebraska.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1543791 Robin states, that miles wanted him to visit Boise st still and he also scheduled an in home with him for Monday the 9th. I think he commits on the in home and then we will have an idea of Robinsons thoughts.
  12. I'd have to agree, I like the guys, but like Kamdy said, it's about time NU has this problem in a good way.
  13. Even though it seems like a bad thing, it's a good problem to have. Replace players with better players.
  14. Would wacker or bolden wait until spring signing period? If that's the case there may be more openings. I just think we take 3 and bolden isn't included. Hope I'm wrong tho.
  15. I'd be all for the black alternative.. Something to spice it up now and again. Do I think it will happen? Probably not.
  16. I read it. Wow. In summary, Elbert's family has handed over all of his recruitment to his AAU coach who happens to be a huge Husker football fan. Robinsons family is very reserved yet Kenya Hunter has formed a very close relationship with them. When Kenya came here, Nebraska became an immediate option. The family, the AAU coach, and Elbert will all be here next weekend. And Neil smith will be hanging out with them too.
  17. "Huge" news, just getting him here is awesome. Just have to wait and see what happens. This is the start of Kenya hunters work. I can't wait to see who else he brings.
  18. Count me in on 2 of these!
  19. I see us going anywhere from 10-3 to 8-5. But I think we can take Miami at home and FGCU, especially since the crowd will be pumped for the opener. Tough games as the tournament, Creighton, and Cincy. The tournament I can see us going 2-1 or 1-2.
  20. With the parking, I'm at a wait and see approach. I also plan to go earlier for a drink and possibly stay later after words. I was one at Devany that would just sit in car and listen to the post game show, so that the rush was never really an issue to me.
  21. Agree. I don't think tweeting these sales pitches at him can help the school's chances. I guarantee that the respective head coaches and their assistants have gone through every one of these facts and a thousand others about their schools. It's not like Gilmore is gonna read the tweet and say, "oh yeah, totally forgot, Nebraska is in the B1G and its the best conference in basketball, totally forgot. I'm sold!". Yep, the coaches have everything already implanted into the recruits heads that I think the tweets at them can be annoying. Some are ok, but the all out pitches are obnoxious.

  23. I have to agree, the kid is just getting bombarded by tweets about it. Leave the kid alone and let him decide for himself. Granted I don't want him to even think about going there, but if that what he feels will be his best choice then its his choice. I want him to come here for a visit and see what he thinks about not only the football game environment, but what it will be like for a basketball game too. Having him here the weekend of the scrimmage? Maybe keep talks going with Bolden and bring him along too. One can only hope...
  24. I hope he ends up at Marquette.
