Wish we weren't at the point of hoping for miracles, but I think that's where we are here. IMODefinitely not confident but I don't think it's going to take a miracle. This is the way I see it. There have been clues in our recruiting that suggest we have a chance. There have also been people making guesses based on timing, tweets, and twitter follows that Ohio State is his choice. I'm not drawing the conclusion that some are when they say its over, he's gone to OSU. I highly doubt that anyone outside of Elbert's tight circle knows what his choice is yet. So, when he announces on Tuesday, it could be anything. Am I confident that the choice is Nebraska? No. But I'm not sold that the choice is Ohio State. He could pick LSU as well.Would you be confident if his final two didn't include tOSU?I'm not sold that Ohio State is his choice. Heck, before this last Thursday people were worried that he was in love with LSU and that's where he would end up.What do you know? Is this between us and LSU? Not going to go into detail, but to answer your second question, I believe this to be the scenario. Needless to say, things can (and do) change in recruiting. But I do feel very good about our chances. Not expecting you to go into detail, reveal your source, etc. So it's your belief that Ohio State isn't in his final 2 and it's Nebraska and LSU showdown? Interesting. Can you tell me if this information was gathered or known before ERs visit to OSU? I guess, how recent is this info? Like you said, things change, but you're fairly confident that the NU/LSU final still stands?Yes, it's my belief that it's us or LSU. This belief stems from information that I became privy to this afternoon.Thanks. I know anything can happen Tuesday. If it is just us and LSU, if, I said IF, I like our chances a little more. LSU was all Elbert's idea. I think the story was that the AAU coach was helping his niece?? move to college and Elbert went along for the ride. He liked the campus so much that he wanted to go back. I don't think anyone was pushing LSU on Elbert. The AAU coach is even from Louisiana and from everything I've read, it doesn't sound like he's ever pushed ER to go there or even ever suggested that it would be good for him. There's no benefit for Elbert to go to LSU over Nebraska. Worse conference, lesser facilities, no significant history (such as an OSU) to speak of. The clues, or lack thereof, in our recruitment of big men to finish out this class point to Elbert announcing that he's N on Tuesday. Now hurry up and get here Tuesday, so we can know. Are we at 40 pages yet? We are getting pretty close, just need some more Norm on here and we'll be there before tomorrow.

The odds between us and LSU seem different as I still stated that they had a better chance. I wonder where you got your information from today. Pretty pumped, but won't get my hopes up if he heads the other direction.

I really do think that Harriman was in Dallas to visit with Elbert. Garland is roughly a 20 mile trip from Dallas airport. Even if he was there to visit, it doesn't mean that the visit was because he decided to choose us. I would think that he was visiting to try and sway a decision one way or another. Tuesday needs to come.

The only "obstructed" seats that I'm aware of are the seats directly behind the stairs opening in the second and third decks. So if you got unlucky and got seated in the couple seats that happen to be right behind the opening you will be partially looking through the railing with the cable wires running through the railing. It's the thing that prevents people from falling off the cliff. The rail that runs along the rim of the 200 and 300 levels will impede the views of nearly all people in the first row. In the 200 level, it shouldn't impact anyone beyond that. I'm in row 2 of the 200 level, on an aisle and I didn't have any trouble.Dammit. I am 216, row 1. Hopefully it isn't too bad. I have seats in 215 row one and it was kind of a pain, but wasn't that bad. Just have to adjust to it

Wonder what time he'll announce on Tuesday.
-
Does this help anything?
-
Another sign?
-
Now a tweet about Nebraska putting in work... He's gotta be playing with people's mind, or just is pleasing everybody.
-
We tried hard for him.. Good effort miles
-
Pretty sure they would be back by now.
-
And then I wake Tuesday morning...
-
Come to think of it, I remember this tweet. It doesn't mean that he didn't change his mind. I also think that his parents and coach played a bigger role in his recruiting more than people stated. If that's the case then maybe we have more of a chance. Is it Tuesday yet?
-
Yea I agree, but we need to start landing some of these higher profile players. I don't think we get this one, but will will surprise with someone in the spring.

Do you think miles will do something like this each year? -
I want him to shock the world and pick us, but the writing is on the wall and gut is telling me osu
-
I think this announcement will make this get to 40 pages easy!! It's not like he's gonna stop tweeting either.
-
Agree, but let's add Elbert along with him
-
Yea, this whole tweeting deal.. I don't know what to look at as real. I truly think he heads to osu! Funny how many followers he'll lose though. Wish him the best besides the games we play him each year.
-
Looks like he's making choice on Tuesday.. Have a bad feeling with the good luck announcement that he's shooting for osu!
-
It's sad to say, but Benny may see the writing on the wall after this year.

I think that all the other insiders don't think that we have a chance, because we have never landed someone like this in quite some time. I am probably wrong, but i think we make it in the final two and 75% of me thinks he comes here. I'm hoping the crystal balls are wrong and we get our wish!

True, I still love that we are in on a recruit of this caliber. I just want to figure out whats going to happen with Elbert over the next couple of days. After his visit to gtown on the 11th, I think we will know a lot more about where he is going to reside. It's a little worrisome to me that on the Crystal Ball that 12 out of 13 insiders have predicted Elbert to LSU. I know those aren't always accurate, but still, all of those insiders heard something that makes them think Elbert is going to choose LSU. And that's not all LSU guys making those predictions to LSU. It's Duke insiders, Kansas insiders, even a Georgetown guy picking Elbert to LSU. Yea, but all those people thought Wacker was going to go here... Miles told him to do otherwise. I look at those too, but I just don't know how accurate those are. You would think that the Nebraska insiders would have gotten some information as well. I try not to read to much into over there because there is very little information about bball and its never updated. I wish that they would tackle bball with more effort. Just think we will have to wait and see what he decides, but if he does go elsewhere besides us I'd prefer it to be gtown or lsu. A place so we don't have to play him and gtown so he could dominate the blue hairs! If he does go to osu, I'd love to be able to beat him when we would play him. Time will only tell....

I guess the positive would be that we won't have to play Goodluck at either big ten school. Now we just need to hope Elbert wants to shine here at Nebraska.
