  1. IF we fill Whites spot. Miles hasn't been able to fill out a roster in 4 years. No reason to believe he will do it now. Plus, it's very let in the game. Huge blow for next years team and Miles future at Nebraska IMO. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 10 eligible scholarship players at this point, only 3 guards, everybody else in the conference has a better returning player than our best returning player. Don't know how that adds up to challenging for the top half of the conference this year. It would mean Anton Gill needs to be really really good. A 4th losing season in 5 years will give Eichorst a lot of ammo to bring his own guy in. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Check that. Rosenthal is saying White talked to Miles before Eichorst. Would have loved to hear that convo Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Just because he's transferring doesn't mean it's because of the BS reasons you were spewing a couple months ago. It could be White is just a major dick...but he didn't even notify Miles. He went straight to Eichorst. Obviously there was some harsh feelings there. Either way...I'm not concerned about the why. I'm concerned about Nebrasketball facing another losing season. 5. Lol...just embarrassing. Big blow for Miles Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  7. Offered by Indiana today
  8. Snapchat is a company valued at over $20B that gives people a false sense of security that any nudes they send will never be seen again and cannot be traced. Close enough? FYP
  9. That's a pretty good poke for a 14 year old
  10. I agree. Just picked a bad time for the bats to go very silent. I don't think we had an extra base hit in Clemson. That's not going to do much for you. At least they got some valuable experience for some players. Did we have an extra base hit in Omaha? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. 4 runs in the last 36 innings...can't make that up. Expectations need to be ramped up for the program going forward...first five under Erstad has not produced great results. Time to take the next step next year Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. IMO...that would actually be best case. I would much rather have to beat Clemson once as opposed to twice if we somehow make it to Sunday night. With that said, the way we are swinging the bat right now its probably more likely we go 0-2 rather than make it to Sunday.
  13. That seems to be a good candidate for our Incarnate Word/Samford clunker. I believe USD is adding a couple solid transfers so could be an interesting game if we dont come to play. On the bright side...this is just another game that shouldnt be an RPI killer. Me likey
  14. will depend on how many guys sign, but we lose a lot also. Will need at least 2 infielders, a center fielder, and some pitchers. Jake P., Rev and Chesnut gone, no doubt Boldt is gone, and suspect Burkamper and Knudsen gone. Could see Miller being gone also. Will need to fill some holes. I guess it depends on how you look at it...I see us getting back 6 of 9 in the lineup...I don't see Ben Miller leaving, his game just does not fit in the pro's. I could be wrong, but I don't even forsee him being drafted. From what I have heard Knutson is gone for sure...but, we should be able to fill that void as he was our midweek starter just for the past few weeks. Burkamper will be the question mark....he may be the top prospect on the pitching staff but he did not show much in terms of velocity this year. Early in the year he was in low 80's and by the end he was mid-upper 80's. May have hurt his draft stock quite a bit. But, even if Burkamper decides to leave we return our #2 an #3 starters in addition to McSteen who I think will still end up being a quality starter. Burkamper will indeed be interesting; he was just never quite right this year, and I'm not sure there is a physical answer for the lower velocity. I think we're deeper and better off with pitchers than position players. In addition to McSteen, Engelken has really good stuff, if he can improve his control. King was much better in the conference tourney, albeit only 2 innings. And Hohensee should be back next year after Tommy John surgery. But we have to find a shortstop and third baseman, and perhaps an option at second if Schlep doesn't get it figured out. Forgot about Hohensee...he was one of my favorite arms on the staff. If he can regain his form that would be big for the backend of the pen if they don't ask him to be a starter. I see Alvarado filling in at third as I think thats his most natural position....not sure what's going on with Dilday but if he returns I would assume he takes over in left if Alvarado moves to third. Should be interesting to see how the rest shakes out....in the meantime hopefully we do some damage in the regional.

  16. Would be nice to have a good showing but just making a regional is a nice spring board for the future. We return quite a bit next year so this will be good experience for some of the youngsters Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Wow...thought we were done for after seeing Minnesota and Washington. Fun matchup as well Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Buckeyes with the win. I think they are the best team in the conference this year so good for them. Helps our cause, may come down to us or Minnesota. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. RPI stands at 48....warren Nolan currently has us last team out. I think we are in trouble Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. RPI at 46. It's going to be a close call on Monday. Especially if MSU or Iowa wins the big ten Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. To be fair..I do think the non-con may be more difficult this year. Which is a good thing if we want to position ourselves for a NCAA appearance. But, we need to find away to win 10+ Big Ten games. This could be a pretty fun team to watch with all the pieces we have.
  22. Not at all...again, atleast for me it rubbed me the wrong way as the talk seemed to be more centered on around why he wouldn't pick Nebraska as opposed to some of the good reasons as to picking Nebraska.
  23. Yeah, I don't think he was saying..."AW III...don't come back." But, when I heard it...it seemed as if the segment was more centered around why he may not come back as to....why he should he come back. And in that...I'm paraphrasing here Nick said something like "Let's be real here...no disrespect to Nebrasketball, buttttttttt I dont know if the situation in coming back to Nebraska is attractive to Andrew White. Let's be real...more than likely they will be a .500 team next year...going to be battling to stay out of the play in games in the Big 10 tournament." "If he comes back...without Shields, White is going to have to shoulder the load on once again...a team that will likely be .500 at best."
  24. I think we should be better than .500......FYI, according to Bahe he said he would be surprised if a team that finished under .500 last year and lost its best player(Shields) finishes above .500 the following year. He said something like 9 wins in the non-con and 7 conference wins sounds about right for next year. Like most of our transfers, I think some people will be surprised at how good Gill is....and, I don't think he's really taking into the account that our freshmen from last year should all improve on their numbers.
  25. Silver lining in going 0-2 is if we do get into a regional...our pitching staff should be well rested. Would have been nice to see the stadium packed with Red on sunday though
