Please recall that the non-conf schedule that Doc assembled was much easier. The comparison between Tim & Doc after the NEXT 3 years will be of great interest.... Incarnate Word you must be talking about. Collier left Doc with about the worst roster you could ask for, outside of Maric. Maryland Baltimore County ring a bell? Aleks Maric falling in Doc's lap trumps anything Miles was left with.

This year has sucked, and you can blame Miles for some of it. But yes, anyone with half a brain knows Miles seat is as cool as a cucumber.

So what is a "Motion Offense" anyways?

Don't disagree there. I'd say there's a few things that could be changed to get us more in games, expo facto creating energy because it's competitive, but nonetheless, correct, X's and O's only matter when the intangibles have been taken care of. Jones you probably know a lot more about basketball than I do...but just going off the eye test it appeared our action was improved on offense last night. But, we are a poor shooting and passing team..combine those two and it leads to trouble. We can only hope that an added year of experience, and the incoming talent can change that next year. -
Please quit going of Sam Mckewon's tweets. That guy is off his rocker. He's the same guy claiming Nebraska was one shot away from a NCAA appearance in Doc's third year. Oh and in regards to those records... SOS (per kenpom) 07- 65 08- 73 09- 59 13- 5 14- 22 15- 38

Sorry, I don't speak gibberish. But by all means, please let me know what differences you are seeing in this years offense compared to last years? Seeing that I haven't had the ability to attend a game yet. What philosophical differences are there between Kirby and Bolt?

I'm sure Erstad will be just fine once the heaters in the dugout get turned on. All about that temp!

How can we really know until the temperature reaches 60 degrees?

Do you hAve something against Petteway? No, do you?He doesn't have a problem TP, just the whole team. Go back and look at some of the other game threads and you will see a for yourself.Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk Or is it that you have a problem with the truth? Kind of like how you got so upset that I half jokingly said Miles should cut the fans a check on the way out after the Iowa debacle. What again did Miles say after the game? No, he didn't say he would cut the fans a check but he did say(probably half jokingly) that he wish he could put the players to work to repay the fans. Did he not? Yet...there you were ALL upset because I hurt your feelings. Sorry you can't deal in reality...that has been proven over and over again in the past. So instead, you choose to follow me around and attack the messenger instead of the message. Probably because you don't have the ability to attack the message. You hate me so much...yet you just can't stop talking about me! Show some self control and skip over my post why don't ya?

Main positive last night was Tarin. He has never been afraid on the court but he squared off against a top 5 draft pick last night and more than held his own. It hasn't always gone in this year and he has struggled some from the line but he has a nice looking jumper that in time could be a major scoring threat for us.

locker room lockout on Mike and Mike
huskerbaseball13 replied to hhcmatt's topic in The Haymarket Hardwood
Probably not. But it sounds like he does read the comments posted under published articles. I thought he said he only reads the articles and not the comments. Maybe I went Andy Pettitte and misremembered or misheard, but I have to go with that as I don't want to wade back through the presser. Maybe he did, I may have skipped over that part. But when he said he read things like "maybe Miles should lock himself out"...I don't remember any national media saying that just some dolts from other fanbases. -

2015 PG Glynn Watson - Signed
huskerbaseball13 replied to hhcmatt's topic in Husker Hoops Recruiting
Per Paul Biancardi of ESPN on his overview of the Big Ten recruiting classes he has Watson pegged as the top sleeper. Said by this time next year everybody will know his name and as a freshman will bring defensive toughness to the position and play making ability right away. Earlier Biancardi also had NU's class as a whole has one of the top "sleeper" classes in the country. http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=12379592
