Recruit magic. Been listening to that for 3 years on here. Worst power 6 team in the country. Every facet of the program is terrible. Staff, culture, players. But carry on, enjoy.

Good luck. This system can’t and won’t work in this league. And we’ll have massive roster turnover again and these new guys aren’t gonna come in and win in this league. And if Matt A. Comes back (can’t imagine he will), the disaster will continue.

We’ll, you got your wish. We’ll be awful again next year and then it will be over. But no one, absolutely no one, will be able to say this guy didn’t get a full chance.

I’ll renew mine also cause that’s what we’ve done for 44 years. So Norm isn’t getting my lower bowl aisle seats.

Has nothing to do with Frost. Different situation. Let Fred stand on the merits. If you think he deserves to stay based on anything he's done or you think he can do, fine. You probably don't know all that went into Frost getting another year (I do). Doubt that Fred would be willing to do what that took. Plus Fred's situation is way worse. Apples to oranges. Getting tired of people using that as a reason to keep Fred.

Hopefully some of those Iowa fans will buy you some drinks.

Yeah, not a DP fan. Arrogant, tries to bring a social worker approach to sports, does repeat the clichés you quoted above incessantly. But I could see people getting wowed by it, until they figure out the emperor has no clothes.

Have to respectfully disagree. The head coach, especially at Nebraska, has to be actively engaged in recruiting. Can't delegate that completely and be successful. But yes, to the extent he hired a general manager, he didn't get the right guy.

It will be very interesting to see what happens with Fidler. Pretty sure he would have a lot of options if he entered the portal.

Well if it drives him crazy he should have recruited differently (or actually recruited at all, vs. having Matt do it all), and get his guys to buy into the effort needed. That's what good coaching is about. Clearly Mr. Laidback can't motivate his players to play the game the right way. The fact that Fred had to say what he said about Dawson is a clear indictment of his program. He should have kept that to himself and the team. Speaks volumes.
