Last 2 posts are dead-on. Deb not among the high characters in the game.

Doc weighs in with a tweet. Classy by Doc. Perhaps someone can find and link
-
Wow, that ought to help our RPI

Well, another reason could be that he thought we didn't have enough post depth to get through the season and he couldn't afford to redshirt him. Pitch still not a true post, and is still shaky defending the interior. Moses had a history of foul trouble, and while so far he has avoided the foul a minute syndrome, from what I have seen with his feet, he will still get in foul trouble against Big 10 level posts. Finally, it's a long season. A little too early to make a conclusion that the guy will never be any good, which is what the 3 scenarios above seem to do.

Nebraska isn't a good fit for Tai's skillset
HB replied to Some_Fulla's topic in The Haymarket Hardwood
We've always had a couple of Kidneys at most times; it was time to have a couple of others come out of the woodwork, as we seemingly went months without "that guy". At some point we need a Hall of Fame. I'm forgetting the names of some of the classics as time goes on. But we are due to hear from Kearney Man. Perhaps some One Nut, Rooster whatever it was, and some others, if they weren't banned. Anyway, Happy Thanksgiving everyone. -

I really don't think this is the case. To me it seems we are looking for ideas, answers to the slow starts. End of last season was fun. Do you really blame the fans for wanting more? As far as I am concerned, any one can offer suggestions to the coaching staff. I bet they at least listen. We have an opportunity to have some thing different better than football. Your post remind me of how process oriented coach speak comes off as mind your own business. Give it a rest. Our fans are taking ownership of the product and need to make sense of the "process". tux Serious? You think Tim Miles and his staff listen to message board suggestions? Yes as a matter of fact I really do. How much weight it has depends on the suggestion. He/they get ideas some where. tux Can't tell if you are serious or just trolling. But I promise you the coaches don't have time to read fan message boards....not even for laughs, let alone getting coaching pointers. -
Somebody better check out his elbows. That somebody needs to be Norm.

What say you, Norm?

Damn, HB nailed that one! Good work getting the next generation fired up to be Husker fans. Enjoy!

November 2015 is a LONG way away. Wouldn't expect to hear too much yet. Also, it is interesting that with the strength of our last two classes, we are starting to hear from recruits, high school coaches and club coaches about playing time concerns. Other schools are using our class rankings against us, and telling recruits there won't be any playing time. It is a new situation for us--and a very good problem to have!

My guess is that there will be a good number of decent priced tickets out front. That's just a guess, but it is a busy time of year and close to Thanksgiving; I think there will be sellers. The last game there were guys selling outside the Arena (on the corner right by Longwell's), but I don't know the asking price. You might contact the ticket office to see if any tickets have been turned in. That way you can check the location of the tickets and avoid some of the brokers hanging around. Good luck!

Sure. I don't think he survives the current situation, and I am fine with that.

Kalenta got lost a couple of times on D, but did some nice things offensively. Brandy's shot wasn't falling, but she didn't let it affect the rest of her game. It is nice to see her mature before our eyes. Romeo plays at a fast pace and gets after it defensively. Chandler Smith suited up today but didn't play. Must be getting healthier.

Good points Silver. Plus, that Rivers guy doesn't shoot many 3s and isn't a power lifter, so he needs to go. And Parker--well, he's really short and isn't a great outside shooter. Gone. And that Shields guy--well, his knee flares up sometimes and limits him. And his dad was a football player, not basketball. So they all should go as well. -

forgot to turn in a score. First time ever. Too damn much going on. -
15 points, 13 rebounds last night. Good start to a career.
-
And you even made the broadcast in the first half, Noah! A good shout out from Matt.

We were aided by some ridiculously poor shooting by WSU. I lost count of how many wide open 3s they missed. I realize some of that was by design on our end in determining who not to guard, but 2-27 is crazy. And most of the misses were just awful bricks. Good road win, especially with what's coming up on the schedule.

2 very good wings. 2 good role players in Dave and Benny. But to be good (as Norm says, a top 25 team), we need Tai and Walt to be very good. They were not tonight. -

Not a great game, but among the newcomers, I was impressed with Kalenta. Great effort. Made 2 3s, and you could tell Connie was thrilled. She plays very hard, is tough, can defend some and rebound. Not a great player but very serviceable in the post. Runs the floor OK. Romeo made some poor decisions shooting the ball, which she heard about from Connie, but plays at high speed and is impressive. I was impressed with Page's skills. She wasn't shooting well tonight, but handled it well and looked good offensively. Her wingspan is ridiculous. Sister Lanie and mom were watching on. Simon, Shepherd, and Lanie Page watched the game together. Washington didn't play tonight, so a redshirt is still a possibility. Kalenta being ready to go may allow for such a decision.
