Big Ten Schools' outlooks for next year.

He didn't quite do enough work. He's got Tre Demps listed as coming back for Northwestern. I didn't catch any other inaccuracies. How about "Andrew White II" ? -
Making a little run in the 6th. I wonder if MichHusker is there. I hear the "Gooo Biiiig Reddd" chant.

Danny Manning and the Miracles lost at the Bob. Was this the game Chubik chase down the break away to block the last shot? Nope Chubick played in the early 90's, during the Neebrasketball time frame of 4 straight years of NCAA's. And four straight years of beating Kansas.

My favorite game was the one where we won. Which one? Any of 'em.

When was the last time Nebraska played the eventual National Champions in the regular season?

I envision a scenario where Jake sat down w/ Coach and asked for a "no b-s assessment" of where he thought he would fit in next year at Nebraska. What Miles did tell him, or was able to tell him, regarding his future in light of our recruiting efforts probably highly formed his decision. But I doubt he was asked politely to more or less leave. By the way, what I'm getting at here is that we didn't need Jake to leave in order to add just ONE more player. See what I'm saying? Oh I agree. In fact I felt if we could add a solid starting center, Jake would add excellent depth to that position. That's true and I agree. But that wasn't the point I was driving at. If all Miles wanted to do was add ONE additional player, we already had room for him to do that. But now we have room for TWO additional players. And I rather suspect Miles isn't planning on carrying an empty scholarship this year. Now do you see what I'm saying? I think I smell what you're stepping in. You think Jake's departure is part of a larger plan of Miles to bring in two new players that he must feel pretty confident he can get?

I would elevate Tai Webster to beyond the level of "role player" after this year. -
Ranking Our probable Starting Lineup for Next Year
hal9000 replied to Norm Peterson's topic in The Haymarket Hardwood
I'd like to research the rest of the league to provide a more educated opinion, but based on my gut feeling... PG - Middle. Watson doesn't have a true backup point. I assume Tai will play some point. Bakari will get a shot at it as well, but as of right now I don't see him being a factor. SG - Top. No reseason to think Gill won't be a huge contributer for us next year, and Tai has become an extremely reliable player for us. SF - Middle. No doubt White is one of the better players in the league. McVeigh will be better I think, but still a lot of growth needed there. Lot of hope for Roby, he's 6-8 and athletic, but is still a true frosh. PF - Bottom. If we get a good Center, this may change, because Morrow and Jacobson are pretty good low post guys, they just need a little help. They should be better individally, but they are still sophmores. Backcourt - Top. With Watson, Webster, and Gill, I definitely feel we have one of the top thirds. Frontcourt - Where do we put White? Part of the back court, or front court? He's a forward, but he's essentially a perimeter player. I'm going to say our front court is our 4-5 positions, and right now I'm saying bottom. -
Something smells like Blue Jay bird s***. No matter. The .00001 caleries it takes to down vote this douche wagon isn't worth it anymore.

Would be music to my ears if we could hear "Bang-a-rang!" come after his shots.

In the next 8 months Jack McVeigh needs to bring his 3 point shooting up to a more consistent level. His three point shot can be a thing of beauty one trip down the court, then the next can miss horribly. I would attribute it to conditioning and experience. I think he'll get there.
