Personally I look for Roby to have a big impact this year and I think Nana gets more minutes as the season progresses. I think it will be hard to keep him off of the floor if he is making shots and can defend well. I think he replaces Jack by mid season.

I think Taylor starts the first game because of his experience and for the fact that he probably wont make any huge mistakes. I don't think he will start many games but I could see him in there for the first couple. I also think someone comes off the bench pretty quickly to take his place.

OK so, "destroy" may have been a bit too strong of a word but i still think we can beat Creighton this year. There was a time when I was a Husker fan first and a Creighton fan second. That changed a few years ago when I was at the game in Omaha and one of the Blue Jay players who's name I can't recall right now jumped on Terran Pettaway when he was down on the court and then gave him a pretty severe elbow to the face. That player then got up and gave a little wink to Greg McDermott. Pretty dirty play! I am sure many on this board will remember that. He was a 6th year senior or something like that and I lost a lot of respect for McDermott and the blue jays that day! Destroy? Maybe not, but I am predicting a win for the Huskers in Omaha this year!

Now all the pieces are in place and I can' wait to destroy Creighton this coming season and hopefully for the next few seasons as well!!! GBR!

I seriously think this will be our best team since the Danny Nee days. I love Tim Miles and I hope he is our coach for a long time.

I don't know much about basketball in Iceland but there is a pretty good band by the name of Sigur Ros from Iceland?

Whatever happens with Copeland, I will be cheering on the huskers and look forward to seeing what improvements the rest of the team has made from last year. Obviously we would all love to have him eligible form the start of the season, but either way I think we have an improved group of talented young guys and I am excited to see what they can do this year! I think Roby, Jordy and Glynn are the core of our team and the addition of the new guys and some other players that have been here for a few years will make for a great season! I know some on this board think we have to make the big dance or the season is lost. Personally I would love to see that happen, but if we can make a deep run in the NIT I would be very happy with that too. I guess what I am saying is Go Big Red!

I realize everyone has a lot of hope that Copeland will be available from the beginning of the season and can hopefully be a huge part of what i think will be a very good team. I do as well. I also have a lot of hope that Roby will be a very different and much improved player this year and I think that if that happens he will be a very strong piece of this years team also. I am looking forward to seeing what Glynn, Jordy, Gill and Palmer can do this year too but I was wondering what everyone thinks about Nana Akenten? I think he could surprise some folks as well. What do all of you think about him?
