For those who may have not watched the game yesterday it passed along that both Marshall, and Martin will be coming back using a covid year. Also that Warnock will not, going into dental school. With both Marshall and Martin coming back, McCabe may continue to see very little time til her junior year. While I do think McCabe is a D1 talent, she will be mostly a role player when she does get on the court. Maybe spot up three shooter at best.

Iowa hitting 70+ and 60+ from three.

She is 3rd on the state games scoring list with 200 points. Only junior to score 200. Hooper has 271 I think so barring an injury she could pass her next year. Class B stats.

Did read OU and ISU had coaches talk with her after Friday’s game.

OSU and Iowa tomorrow for the tourney title. I will give props to the Iowa band for always playing a polka at the end of the game.

What makes this bad is you are allowed to play hard like this and then go into the NCAA tournament and you barely touch someone and it is a foul. It can put teams at a disadvantage.

I’m going to watch Britt in person tomorrow. Looking forward to getting a closer look.

I did watch the MU and PSU game. Really wanted to see how Brown played, sitting her down for those two games must have helped because she played well and really none of the antics she has become known for.

Sam - I did not say on the bench. As I have stated, I like to watch interactions quite a bit. To the point sometimes I can miss a play. Now I am not saying AM will transfer or even consider a transfer. As I pointed out earlier she was going to go to another school before covid. But I have noticed a few things with this team.

Whalen is not a good coach, but also think we could do better than Shimmy.

Sam, body language can be telling. It doesn't always have to be something spoken.

Whalen needed some seasoning as an assistant. Maybe a head coach at small college, not a D1 P5 program.

Not sure is AM would transfer but if covid had not happened remember she was not going to go to Nebraska. Only after covid happened did she rethink her choice.

It has to come from the NCAA in my view. But the NCAA is getting weaker all the time. It may need to get worse before it gets better. Sad really.
