They were actually pretty close. I remember USA Today came out with their final bracket just before the Selection Sunday show and it had Creighton as one of the First Four out. I think they were more of a 10 or 11 seed, but the logistics helped them. The fact that they couldn't play in the Midwest region and couldn't be paired against another Big East team inflated their seeding a bit.

Villanova played an average game tonight and still wiped Michigan. Fact is Michigan didn't play anyone on their way to the championship. Hell they shouldn't have even gotten past Houston.

Screw Michigan. They made it to the championship, but now I'm done with the rooting for the conference. It's post season, has no bearing on our season, and I'm personally tired of Wagner and this little run they're on. Go Cats

I honestly thought the same thing last year and almost again this year with the Big East losing to each other to get 7 of their 10 teams in. Looks like they're only getting 6 in this year tho. HA!

I think the absolute worst thing about our resume is our best win away from home (neutral or away) is Wisconsin (#109 in RPI). That is just so so so bad.

I disagree. If you beat the #2 and #3 team in the nation you're going to get the nod even if you lose to Creighton and don't hit the 20 win mark. I remember a team that had very a similar resume to this year's Providence in 2013/14.....

What? That's been the goal for every conference every year even before the quadrant system. Improve your RPI for the conference. If it weren't for the quadrant system we'd have literally only 3 top 100 wins. So which do you think honestly looks worse?

3 points for picking the right team, 3 points for correct seed, 1 point if they have a team within one seed line. So mix of both.
