  1. Not to defend UCLA, but just looking at their resume they have very similar losses to us yet have wins against Kentucky, USC, and at Arizona. Compared to just Michigan. Plus the name on the front of the jersey probably isn't hurting them either unfortunately...
  2. Nebraska back up to "First Four Out" on Lunardi's bracket
  3. To me it looks like the worst thing that could happen to Creighton, based on the information available, is Patton accepted a meal that was over $200 from the agent and he, consequently, would have to vacate any records he broke or rewards he earned last year. I'm sure he's devastated....
  4. Currently on Next Four Out on Lundardi's bracket. He must've just uploaded it this morning.
  5. Northwestern not losing to Rutgers earlier this week would've been nice
  6. I know it's a 5 game losing streak but is almost laughable to think they'd take us over Oklahoma. They said during the game they have a 97% chance of making the tourney even with the loss today. Texas is approaching more of lock territory rather than bubble territory with another big road win too.
  7. That was my first time watching Nevada those two brothers are legit. Reminded me of JPJ with their length and how they get to the rim
  8. The Providence win really hurts wow did not see that happening
  9. Minnesota putting up a fight against MSU and Northwestern beating Rutgers would've been nice... Can this conference not throw us a bone here?
  10. Im just seeing these we wanted Baylor? They're on the bubble on bracket matrix but Texas was in as a 10 seed. Wouldn't we want Baylor to move down for us rather then them and Texas pretty much just switching spots?
  11. Washington beats Arizona on buzzer beater. Big win for them.
  12. Ya that's true. I guess I'm just kinda torn on it, considering Providence already has one win against them, and I doubt Marquette drops both games to them down the road.
  13. How is the St. Johns game really helping us if they win? If anything it helps the bubble teams in the Big East like Providence and Marquette every time they beat them more than it's helping us, considering we got killed by them
  14. And I'll bet you more it won't. I don't know how many more facts this board has to present to people that think the Big Ten name will just carry us in this year. This conference is awful minus two heavy hitters and one Ohio State team that is exceeding expectations.
  15. I don't think losing to #8 on the road should bring you down that much. But I agree Marquette shouldn't be in right now.
  16. If you guys didn't check out those mentions yet on Lunardi's Nebraska tweets yesterday, I highly recommend it. Our fans are almost like a mob it's hilarious.
  17. I listened to the The Ticket a couple days ago talking about his specific article and how beating Delaware State is hurting our RPI, and therefore, hurting our tournament chances. I then remembered my friends that are Crayton fans complaining about how awful their non con home schedule was and did some research... The Jays played Alcorn State (RPI 343), Maryland Eastern Shore (349), Southern Illinois-Edwardsville (326), USC Upstate (337). That is MUCH worse than our cupcake non con slate, yet they are still solidly in the tournament. Why? Because they performed not great, but relatively well in non con with wins on that road at Northwestern and against UCLA on a neutral court. What I'm trying to say is if we win even one of our non con games that are of significance (St Johns, UCF, Creighton, Kansas) then we don't need to point to articles like this one and look for excuses. That article just kind of upset me, and I apologize, but how about we take care of business in non con instead of blaming wins against Delaware State and Stetson as why we wont dance?
  18. I agree with all of them except Penn State/MSU. Wouldn't we want Penn State to stay off the bubble? A win on the road at Michigan State would certainly build hype for them.
  19. Thats the vibe I got reading that. Also @HuskerFever I'm starting to share your concern with us having less games to play than the rest of this field. Last night kind of proved it. A bubble team like Georgia for example gets a big win and moves ahead of us in bubble talk and our Wisconsin win seems all but forgotten.
  20. I actually was talking about this with a couple buddies this weekend while we watched Michigan State-Maryland on CBS and Villanova-Marquette on Fox. Would be nice to get a nationally televised game on a channel other than BTN.
  21. I think this also might have to do with the trend that more bracketologists are currently leaning towards 4 from the Big Ten. You'll notice that Minnesota also isn't on there anymore and Maryland is only in 6 total brackets now out of the 70 on there.
  22. Was just going to mention this as well...if the committee is going by those sheets to make their decisions...they're not showing final conference record or final place in conference standings. If anything they're trying to mitigate those types of factors with these sheets.
  23. I personally think having a better quality road win would help us more so I'd go with Northwestern, rather than a team we beat at home. But as I type this I'm already second-guessing my decision.
  24. More good news. If we win every regular season game and beat Michigan, Purdue, and Michigan State in the B1G tourney we get a 9 seed.
  25. This is really interesting thanks for sharing this. According to this site, I'm surprised it doesn't have us 100% in the field if we would've just beaten Creighton and Kansas. Looks like we'd still be in the first four out, but we'd be a legitimate bubble team.
