Possible Juco transfer we could look into is Devonte Bandoo. 6'3 SG who Averages 15.7 ppg on 46% FG and 40% 3pt. Canadian kid with two years of eligibility left i believe. Has an offer from West Virginia, Miss St., and Buffalo according to 247 http://www.bluedragonsports.com/sports/mbkb/2017-18/bios/bandoo_devonte_xxxr?view=news

Nebraska on the Selection Committee Board
bigFRED replied to hhctony's topic in The Haymarket Hardwood
Conversation Topic...: Nebraska 19-8 record, best wins vs. Michigan and Northwestern on the road, worst loss vs. #88 RPI Penn State on the road. Creighton 18-7 record, best wins vs. Seton Hall, Butler, UCLA, and Us, Worst loss vs. #76 RPI Baylor. Of course the RPI overrates their wins against Big East teams because of "how much better it is than the Big Ten" but our best win is better than theirs, and our worst loss is pretty similar. Similar record as well. They are a lock for the tournament and we are first four out. -
So does this mean my boy Timmy M gets a nice contract extension??? I would give all the money in my piggy bank for it to happen.

Nebraska on the Selection Committee Board

Still team #3 on First Four Out in this weeks' bracketology behind UCLA and Marquette. -
So do we jump in front of Georgia and Western Kentucky here on Monday when the next bracket comes out?? If we don't then, then we should atleast with a win Tuesday. The last two teams in the actual bracket field are VA Tech and then Marquette. Va Tech beat Notre dame then lost to Miami this past week, and Marquette lost to Nova and Providence.

Definitely need a bigger guard and a big yet still in this class for sure. I didn't even think about the possibility of Palmer declaring... -

This site is kind of fun comparing teams side by side. Here is us and Maryland, you cant convince me that they have a stronger resume than we do, but they are on "the bubble" and we aren't. https://www.cbssports.com/collegebasketball/bracketology/team-comparison/NEB/MD -

How are some of those teams ahead of us with losing conference records and are like 13-8? -
On Lunardi's bracket we still aren't on any First four or Next four out lists.

My biggest thing is we are up 3 with a little under three minutes and then it seems like we didnt run another play or set the rest of the game. -

Rumour du jour: Possible Jordy Transfer
bigFRED replied to hhcmatt's topic in The Haymarket Hardwood
Yeah this may be the most selfish thing I've seen. He gets absolutely nothing from transferring now instead of at the end of the season. If you start something and commit to a team, you finish it. And tbh Miles has been more believing in Jordy than most of us at this point considering how hes been playing this season. This hurts the teammates and even Tim himself as he tries to get a contract extension. Since Miles got here the program has gotten so much more exciting and prominent, I want nothing more than for him to get an extension. Its so great to see how much all these fans love this team, and for him to quit on every single person of the 15,000 that come sell out the place, and your teammates and the coaches right in the middle of the conference play as we are trying to get back to the NCAA tournament?? Are you serious? -
2018 C Florent Thamba -> Baylor

Would be pumped about this get. -
Schnider Herard 2016 C -> Miss St -> Maryland
bigFRED replied to ajb5856's topic in Husker Hoops Recruiting
I meant a big is a big in terms of being somewhat expected to contribute. You're right that they all end up performing differently and that some fail to meet expectations but comparing me saying this about this top 50 recruit to us getting Sergej is irrelevant. And i never had high hopes for sweet feet Sergej -

bigFRED replied to ajb5856's topic in Husker Hoops Recruiting
Quite irrelevant post considering this kid was a top 100 recruit and the first name you list was Sergej Vucetic. -
Okay we lose Gill, Evan, and Duby this year. We add Xavier Johnson and Brady Heiman so far. Brady maybe can contribute after redshirting and developing a few years but nothing soon. With Jordy's struggles I say we definitely need to bring in another big (Flo Thamba hopefully). Now Xavier will be a good help to replace our guards and I think Thomas Allen can fit in nicely to Anton's role this year, so we should need just one more good guard that can contribute, then I'd also like to add a nice sized Wing player as well for defense and I think Aguir Agau would be great... Things have been dead recruiting wise so far which is why I bring this up.. Thoughts?
