Seeing a lot of KU fans crying about this on social media is hilarious. Also seeing a lot of negative pub from national media. Surprising because there are so few data points to go off of so far. This will be a lot more clear when we get into January and February.

My initial takes... We need to keep beating up on those teams that are not very good. We need to win at home. I think this takes into account quite a bit of leverage. Home losses are bad bad... road wins are good good... opponent is not a huge factor. It's early and I see a lot of KU people that are really upset. Remember this will drastically change. We get a daily update on NET rankings from here on out.

Were just released today. https://www.ncaa.com/rankings/basketball-men/d1/ncaa-mens-basketball-net-rankings Huskers were #1 and dropped to #14. Texas Tech was #13 and jumped to #3 Big 10 has #1, #4, #7, #8, #14, #15, #17, #20.

100% agree that some of what we are seeing isn’t what Miles necessarily wants. I think that’s why he has had numerous talks with James. I think we’re all on the same page that this team is not a 3 point juggernaut and needs to live and die by the drive with an occasional open three.

I think a lot of people have taken Miles comment about threes out of context. To me, Miles was saying that if we are going to have to settle for a shot, that it should probably be a three instead of a long two. I don’t think he was advocating for quick threes early in the shot clock. I also don’t think he was 100 percent against long twos that are good open shots. Think Cope at the free throw line. I think that shots going in every time. That’s his spots. I believe that Miles was saying if we are going to settle for something, it probably needs to be a three or shot at the rim.

Seton Hall should get a nice jump.

Honestly, we should be pissed with how we played against Tech as well. Two teams who should be fighting to get back a game they could have won? Sign me up!

Seton Hall has a big one tonight against Miami in the Championship of the Wooden Legacy. Come on Pirates!

Oklahoma State with a solid win. That neutral site game will be tougher than most think. We have a strong Non-Con this year. Ranks right up there with the year we played UCLA.

Right. They will probably be the 20+ win team to not make the tourney this year.

Looking at Tech's schedule... they should be 10-0 when they play Duke on a neutral court at MSG. They should also be 11-1 heading into the conference portion of their schedule.

A great opportunity and a great reason for everyone not to panic about a missed opportunity against Tech. Played bad? Yes. But we will have plenty more opportunities against quality competition and more of those than not are away from home.

Ho hum game with a Ho hum environment. About what I expected today. This has trap game written all over it. We played well considering what we’ve done in these games in the past. Let’s focus on Clemson! This team is 5-1 fellas!
